gedmaheux.wordpress.com— A list of ten things Sam Raimi must have been telling himself as he made this disastrous third installment. It's the only possible explanation.

my favorite part was the end (and not just because the long national nightmare was finally over)1) Spidey's best friend is lying hurt and dying.2) Spidey, instead of rushing to his side, and taking him to the hospital, or calling 911...instead stands slackjawed as the guy from Sideways goes off on a 20 minute monologue as the sun rises. Then watches as he disappears...then finally meanders over to his best friend. Wassup???
I love Raimi at times, but this movie SUCKED. I have had a hard enough time accepting that little pansy as Peter Parker and the other dork as Mary Jane...now you want me to call *that* a plot, too? Nope. Save your time, friends. Go watch Evil Dead II again.
I think the real issue is that they forgot that what people liked about the first 2 was that they were comic book movies that didn't feel like comic books movies. All of a sudden, they decided to make a comic book movie with all the plot holes of a comic book.
"they decided to make a comic book movie with all the plot holes of a comic book"And none of the genius that used to fill those holes. I quit collecting comic a billion years ago (when Spawn was a wee baby). Not because the plots sucked...far from it. Rather, because they cost too f**king much.Comparing this movie to the comics that 'inspired' it is just pointless.
