Why would you make fake 5.1 out of 2 channel audio? Do you think you really gain anything? Information in 2 channel audio is just that: 2 channel audio. For visual types: this is like wanting to upconvert 2-dimensional photograph to "full 3D" without any additional info. You can do it, but with pointlessly bad result. OpenSource at least won't let you do such bad things.
drifting cover art grid? I always wondered why there seems to be an aversion to a bit of simplicity when it comes to audio playing. Where's the love for the spectrum analyzer?
