Another great Composite article from SmashingMagazine. I really love this site, it has taught me so much.And I agree, having a button that would open all the pages in new tabs for me would be kick ass!
This article (which is of course yet another great Top 10 list with plenty of helpful examples and links) makes mention of "Krug's first law of usability" - which is a nice tip of the hat, seeing as all of these points are explored in much more detail in Steve Krug's book Don't Make Me Think. This article is an introduction - read Krug's book for the full dish.
