Ya know, people keep dissing on the Pre's app catalog, but some how i've been ay-ok with it. It's not 150k strong, but it has all the "major apps" i've needed so far and has managed to avoid most of the fluff of fart apps and such.I'd like to add to this list of must haves: Preware, Music Remix (available in preware), Where, Comics, Newsroom and (if you're a student) A+ Student Organizer. And mileage monitor if your an MPG whore :D
Where can I get this Plam Pre?Yeah, because EA/Gameloft, Ubisoft, and so many others aren't considered high quality developers. The Pre and WebOS have come a long way since the initial launch.

And I wouldn't say that's "without" Palm's approval. Palm DOES recognize and supports application distribution not through the App Store. http://www.precentral.net/palm-reveals-open-web-di ...

Correct. Twitter by SMS, the way it was meant to be, works fine.
