filmschoolrejects.com — These are the moments that stuck with us long after the credits rolled. They are shocking, humorous and exciting. Some have become part of the iconic legends (like the boulder) while others can be quoted in pop culture with no need of an explanation (like ?No ticket!? ala Kevin Smith).

I actually "made" my girlfriend watch this series last month. I told her we WOULD be going to see them so she'd better be up to speed on the whole saga. I'm exposing her to the best the movies have to offer. Okay, best may not be entirely acurate but I'm introducing her to some of the most memorable movies of all time, in my opinion. It all started when she chose some movies to go see and they were horrible! (Wild Hogs, Knocked Up, Alien Child etc) Even she thought they were bad, so she wanted me to choose some movies to watch at home.We did the Spiderman trilogy being wrapped up with the subpar part 3 at the theater, the whole Kevin Smith movie anthology (which she actually loved!) and moved on to Indiana Jones last month. As of last night, we have started the Lord of the Rings special edition trilogy. That one ought to last us a few weeks.

Dug for the George Lucas joke a few people apparently didn't get.

Really, other than the original movie, there is nothing iconic or memorable about the "Indy" franchise. I'll grant you that the Sean Connery as Dad was mildly amusing, but memorable? Umm.....not so much.
