While a lot of these are definitely horrific, I'm surprised the attacks of 9-11 didn't make it to this list. I digg, because this sheds a little light on other countries that have also suffered great losses.

Fine, but some of the deaths mentioned in the article were also attributed to collateral damage resulting from the plane crash.
