Whole Foods can be cheap too if you watch what you're throwing in your cart. Look for the private label 365 organic stuff and stay away from the $90/lb. cheese and you can do very well on price and eat all organic.

It isn't hippies who are telling people how to eat. I'd imagine that most of the dieticians who decided on these foods being unhealthy are pretty much middle-Americans. Nothing wrong with that, of course.
