microsplot.com — Microsoft's web site offers us "100 Reasons You'll Be Speechless" over Windows Vista. Quoth the copy: "Using Windows Vista for the first time may leave you searching for words". Er, yes... searching for words, and finding them.

I've got two installs....Ultimate and Home Professional....Ultimate… has standard developer installation (vs2k5/sql2k5/eclipse). I don’t think this one has ever died over the last year. No BSODs but maybe a lock up on very few occasions which can be expected on a dev box. Home Professional…similar install as above except for the dev environments are all of the ‘Express’ flavor as this the necessary environment to target the XBOX with XNA. This box uses Media Center to act as my tivo…almost never crashes…Anyway I’ve been pleased with Vista.

Don't put Linux on your Mac. OSX is vastly superior. If you want to play around with Linux apps, just get fink.

Ever thought it may be your graphics card/drivers at fault? Why is every problem automatically an issue with the operating system?Doesn't the fact that most people don't have the same issue as you make it more likely that the issue is a 3rd party hardware or software fault rather than Vista?

What I personally find a real shame, is that whenever an interesting discussion worthy topic appears on Digg, all that seems to happen is a crazy amount of bitchy comments and not much actual real debate.Discussion, yes I would welcome it but sadly it feel that even this comment will get dugg down/flamed...
