fstdt.com — "I often debate with evolutionists because I believe that they are narrow mindedly and dogmatically accepting evolution without questioning it. I don't really care how God did what He did. I know He did it." oh and "am a bit troubled. I believe my son has a girlfriend, because she left a dirty magazine with men in it under his bed."

no, its to make people aware of the extreme viewpoints in society. i know the moderate christians profess "oh but thats not MY christianity... no no the true christians are nothing like that" but that fact remains that you all suck up to the same god. besides how exactly do you expect civil goodwill to be fostered with people who profess such irrational, illogical and hateful beliefs?

agreed. the myth that morality / empathy / altruism comes from belief in the supernatural is a deeply rooted one.

You can never touch a bible or enter a church in your life and still be a more meaningful and empathetic person than most of these close minded "Interacitive Freaks"Empathy = the ability to see a wrong and a strong desire to make it rightchristian nutcases = the ability to see a difference to the bible and the audacity to force conform

Dear smackjack,There is 'a giant outside source of energy supplying the Earth with huge amounts of energy'. And scientists do know about it. It is a very big star consisting of hydrogen and helium that is constantly undergoing nuclear fission. It is called the sun. It is the round yellow circle that you might have seen on a cloudless sky during the daytime. The sun provides all plants on this planet with all the energy they need and consequently also all the other living organisms. The fission of Helium atoms into hydrogen atoms releases large amounts of energy in the form of light waves (or sunrays). These sunrays provide all plants (except some flesh-eating plants) and some other autotrophic organisms with all the energy they need. These sunrays also allow many other organisms (like us) to 'see'. Perhaps it is hard for you to imagine that these 'sunrays' you have always taken for granted contain the energy that makes most of this world work. But when you stand in the bright sun, you can feel the sun warm you up. This is because the sunrays transfer energy (heat) to your skin and so you heat up. You seemed to be quite ignorant when it comes to understanding these fundamental concepts. Which is strange since in my country we learn that the sun is indirectly the source of all life in the first year of high school (when we are about 11). But I hope this helps you understand.Much lovePaavo
