If we keep flying, and driving as much as we do then global warming will happen. If I remember the number correctly, people in the U.S. need to cut their co2 emissions by about 80%. That is the really inconvenient truth here.If you ask me, the more clever event solution would have been an internet event that did not have as large a carbon footprint.

Its funny, we are all screwed anyway as the human population increases so will the damands on the earth, regardless of whether global warming is real or not, we are all going to have problems in the future anyway simply due to too many people.

Modern environmental activism is a joke. Hyperactivity of humans has caused the problem. It is therefore illusionary to think that one could solve it through more activity. Sadly, no one wants to hear this truth because it implies that to change the situation, we might actually have to stop watching TV and sacrifice something, Yahweh forbid.Modern liberal environmentalist: " Be aware of the problem, but don't actually do anything effective, because that might upset people."
