chris9901 -you need the 500GB so you can put your cracked HD movies on it and watch it directly off of the HDD. Believe me, they wouldn't make 750GB drives if data wasn't there.you sound like the guy who said "640K ought to be enough for anybody..."
This is exactly what I was waiting for. I resorted to buying the lower tier Xbox 360 because it was the only one available. My plan was to wait until the larger hard drive came out so I didn't have to feel as ripped off.
You may not be able to transfer your videos onto the included Xbox 360 hard drive, but there's plenty of videos, demos, and Live Arcade games to download. In fact, each demo takes roughly 1gb and each trailer for a movie/game takes at least 75mb and sometimes as much as 300mb. They also have a couple episodes of the TV show Viva Pinata on Live, and each one of them takes 500mb. Given that the drive itself has only 13gb free when you buy it, you can actually fill it up fairly easily. Especially during / right after events like E3 and X06. This year, I've completely filled the drive twice (during those 2 events) with trailers and behind-the-scene videos and stuff. Yes, most of it I delete right away, but a lot of times, I save it for a friend (who doesn't have a 360) to see, so it sits on the drive for up to 2 weeks. So ... yes, I'll be buying the 100gb drive when it comes out.
I wish the PS3 fanboys would make up their minds, 60GB on PS3 means PS3 is superior to Xbox’s mere 20GB until Xbox increases to 100GB then it’s a bad thing.I bet there’s more to the added storage capacity than just demos. Movies, music the mind boggles at the possibilities.

Well, if I'm gonna keep 100gb of data on my 360, a dashboard patch better make navigating through the data more intuitive.
