Well there goes my ability to watch football (especially Chargers games) in my rural area. Maybe I will spend a hundred bucks a month to get Dish TV...and then 350 dollars more for the NFL Sunday Package next year, but I think the chances of that are pretty low since I make about 800 dollars a month total and I like to eat and pay rent more than I like being entertained on sundays.
This is definitely going to get me to pay 100 bucks a month for cable and then 60 dollars for Pay Per View UFC matches twice a month also.
I guess I just cant afford to follow the sports/teams I enjoy anymore. Could be worse, I could be a soccer fan!

That was my first thought also...there are a couple other (equally hit-or-miss) options out there, but was happy to find First Row when I did.

I use MAFIAA internet browser plugin. It updates a list of streaming websites with new mirrors if they go down.

From the Feds official statement -
Furthering HSI efforts to combat counterfeiting and piracy online, special agents seized a total of 307 websites. Sixteen of the sites illegally streamed live sporting telecasts over the Internet, including NFL games. Two hundred ninety-one website domain names were illegally selling and distributing counterfeit merchandise…
---------------------------------------
291 sites closed for distributing counterfeit merchandise? Whaddya bet that Ebay is still up and running even though they are the biggest seller of knock-offs and every bit as responsible for the crap on their site as Megaupload is for THEIR copyright material from 3rd parties. Any bets? Any takers?

The NFL would wise to simply stream the games off of their own website and I do not know play regular commercials like they do on cable what a f**king thought.

The largest problem that the NFL has is its contracts with Direct TV and other television providers.
If they can get out of that, they can start streaming content from their website on a computer, phone, tablet, etc..

My HTC Droid Phone allows me to watch NFL games for free b/c it's Verizon. My wife's Iphone won't allow b/c it won't use Adobe FLASH. Can't we all just get along?

The unsophisticated boobs in Washington don't understand that they're wasting their time. Quash one site and 2, 3, 4, 5, will spring up in its stead. Perhaps they just don't care, because Mr. Tax-payer gets to finance their little exercise in futility.

Why does the American Department of Justice have access "seize" domain names?
DNS is mean to to be an international effort... what if I wanted to access Firstrowsports.com in my country where it might not be illegal???
