torrentfreak.com — Firstrow, one of the sites that had several of its domain names seized by the Feds yesterday, is furious at the US Government. Convinced that the service they are providing does not violate the law, the site continues to operate under a new domain name. One of the owners told TorrentFreak that they don't intend to stop until a court shuts them down.

How much taxpayer money did that investigation cost?
I want a refund.

It puts a smile on my face, watching the cavemen in Washington try to defeat their technological betters. I hadn't planned on watching the Super Bowl but, perhaps I'll stream it just for giggles.

Me too. I hate football, but I'll definitely watch it out of spite. :)

What a waste of resources by our gov!

This article is right on the money what it says about Uncle Sam. Guess the next time we confirm who is going to head up the justice department, we will have to pay more attention.

Dept of Homeland Security's ICE unit? What the f**k does a site that may or may not be illegally streaming sports have to do with homeland security? Unless the site was directly financing terrorist organizations, DHS-ICE should have had NOTHING to do with this operation. This is yet another clear-cut case of gov't overstepping its limitations. The Western World has been in a police state since 9/11.

I DO live here and lets get this straight. THIS IS MY f**kING LAND not theirs.
When are OUR PEOPLE going to wake the hell up to this fact.
"WE" make the rules not them. we have simply abdicated our power our of pure laziness and ignorance.

Good for them. Generically this was the correct thing to do. If they are in the right then they are in the right.
Yet I am somewhat disappointed to see people consider this to be tech not politics. All they are doing is standing up for their rights (politics) and moving their web site to a different location so they can do business (politics/business).
