huffingtonpost.com — Sarah Silverman popped into the Fox booth to chat with Joe Buck during the 4th inning of Saturday night's Red Sox vs. Yankees game, and it quickly got weird. I saw that. Tim McCarver had no idea what was going on, but Joe Buck was freaked out, and appeared to allude, the following inning, about his own past as a youth. I didn't believe it at all, but it was a strange interlude. Annoying too, as Silverman, a casual fan, trotted out the cliche that once the Sox won in '04 it was fun to be a fan anymore since they weren't "losers." As a Sox fan my entire life, '04 was a relief, and '07 was spectacular.
