Tom Brady has better things to do, like bang his supermodel wife.

tell'em whats up brady
awtrippAug 23, 2010
I hate the Jets as well, but watching Hard Knocks made me hate them just a little less.
I also enjoy listening to Rex Ryan run his mouth.
rufiohoAug 23, 2010
well, at least he has game to back up his comments

This is much better than what is usualy heard from players in the current stupid ass politically correct media driven atmosphere ---
"I ...uh ... respect the other team..uh...and the players ... uh .... and the coaches. They ...uh... all play with great ...uh ... heart .... and ...uh ....sportsman ship ... uh ... thank you."
Closed AccountAug 23, 2010
You left out the "uh you know...you know...you know..."
No, I don't know! I can't read your mind!
jshhmrAug 23, 2010
I appropriately read that in Wade Phillips voice.
vioarrAug 23, 2010
I hate Tom Brady, but at least he has the balls to say that he doesn't like the Jets.
ancalagon73Aug 23, 2010
Has the balls, or lack of class and sportsmanship?
poormansmemoryAug 23, 2010
I'm with you Vioarr.
As much as I dislike Mr. Brady, I could not help but laugh at this. There Mr. Brady, you happy? I finally liked something you did.
dinglebuttAug 23, 2010
18-1
misanthropeAug 23, 2010
Is a much better record than whatever team you like will probably ever have.
gregus1032Aug 23, 2010
17-0 > 18-1
airamaverick11Aug 23, 2010
They were both 17-0 at one point. The dolphins were never 18-0, however.
nick041Aug 23, 2010
I like Brady again! :)
But yes, I completely agree. The Jets need to not exist. They are honestly the most overrated NFL team. Sanchez really isn't a good QB, he's average on his best day. Rex Ryan needs to change his f**king name. Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Overrated? #1 Rushing team and #1 defensive team? AFC Championship appearance?
Quiet when adults are talking.
msipesAug 23, 2010
I think he is trying to focus on Sanchez. He is an overrated QB. They are a good team though. I don't think they can have the same output with just Greene and no Thomas.
bodiezAug 24, 2010
Sanchez isnt overrated at all. No one is saying hes good this season. We'll see though.

YEAH BRO!!! FIST PUMP FIST PUMP GTL!!!!
davdevAug 23, 2010
Yeah, it's been tough living here. 6 championships by 3 teams has been hard on us. /s
I can't wait until the Jets fan realize that they were 7 and 7 last year, with two forfeits, and their best player isn't signing anytime soon.
smookyfufuAug 23, 2010
Boston is jealous of New York as always. You don't even compare to NY.
davdevAug 23, 2010
Yup, whatever you say. Beyond the Yanks, you got nothing. The Mets suck, the Knicks suck, the Rangers suck, the Isles suck and the Jets suck. I'll concede losing to the Giants hurt, but it is easier knowing they are actually a NJ team.
ipecacneatAug 23, 2010
I'm just glad we have a buffer in Rhode Island and Connecticut between us and NYC. Any closer and we could probably smell the bum piss stench that eliminates from that concrete trash can.
ajajadudeAug 23, 2010
smooky, you do realize the Jets play in New Jersey, right?
jaythewiseAug 23, 2010
Hey Canada will be glad to take New England. Boston is a wicked city and one of your nicest.
davdevAug 23, 2010
Honestly, if things keep going the way they are NE will be glad to become part of Canada. Though you probably don't want Rhode Island, or South West CT (that's basically New York)
Our strip joints aren't worthy though, so we'll need your help in that department.
pyroclastic_vikingAug 23, 2010
It's about time he publicly supported new england sports... /NY yankees hat
dignan666Aug 23, 2010
No matter who you like, you KNOW the other AFC east teams have a whole room of people watching Hard Knocks carefully hunting for any tiny little secret that will improve their chances of beating the Jets this season.
trifoldAug 23, 2010
Damn Justin Beiber that's one hell of a growth spurt.

Don't piss off your baby mama before the child is born (like by leaving her for a uber hot supermodel); payback is a bitch.
Brady's 1st son is named John Edward Thomas (JET)
davdevAug 23, 2010
Would you really mind if your kid was named Jet, if you got to home and drill Giselle every night? I think he can get over it
theericevansAug 23, 2010
Is it just me or is Giselle bottom-rung of the VS models? IMO she's not even the best from Brazil. If he had bagged Adriana Lima or Alessandra Ambrosio I'd be impressed.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

spacemanspiff22Aug 23, 2010
Hey now, they beat 2 perennial underachievers in the playoffs last year which they stumbled into after the Colts stopped trying to win. Lets give them their due.
avrusAug 23, 2010
You mean the perennial underachiever that won their division? Or are you referring to another team?
Revisionist history, always amusing.
secretcowAug 23, 2010
FTA: "I'd love to say a lot of mean things, but I'd rather not do that, either."
What kind of athlete is this? Tom Brady's a douche and a primadonna, and he's contributing to the (to borrow a phrase from the late, great Carlin) pussification of the NFL.
harpoonhank420Aug 23, 2010
your thinking of peyton manning
plainoldfoolAug 23, 2010
I'm thinking of Brady and the Brady Rule.
secretcowAug 23, 2010
Touchè, but Brady's still worse.
level4Aug 23, 2010
20 years ago, players made comments like this about rivals often. It wasn't news - it was honesty and competitiveness. Then again, 20 years ago sports were more about teams than individuals. Say what you want about Brady, but he's the ultimate teammate and competitor.
taxmoreAug 23, 2010
jets will be lucky to go 8-8 yet they talk about the superbowl like they have a chance
krahzeeAug 23, 2010
You may not buy the talk of them being a lock for the Superbowl, but 8-8? Do you even watch football? That's as stacked a team as there is in the league on defense, especially if Revis returns, and the offense isn't exactly 2nd rate either.
misanthropeAug 23, 2010
I dunno, they dumped their best running back to pick up a has been. And their best WR is out for 4 games to start the season. And losing Revis makes their D look a lot less "stacked" all of a sudden. Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
krahzeeAug 23, 2010
Jones broke down at the end of the year. Shonn Greene is the future. LT gives them something they missed greatly last season: a back who could catch the ball. Neither Greene or Jones has good hands. LT does. That is what his role will be: Change of pace back and safety valve for Sanchez should he need to dump the ball to the outside quickly.
In regards to Holmes, they still have Cotchery, Edwards, Coles, Brad Smith, etc... on the roster. They are deep at wideout. Is it a drop off? Sure. Are they crippled? No.
As for the defense, they are better with Revis but how the hell can you say a defense with Pace, Scott, Jenkins, Cromartie, Leonard, David Harris, Jason Taylor, etc.. isn't still stacked?
rahazAug 23, 2010
Newsflash: Those names may sound impressive but that same defense wouldn't be considered stacked if it was playing for the Browns. They are a product of the Jets hype that always makes the Jets seem incredible before the season starts and fully overrated by the playoffs.
krahzeeAug 23, 2010
Do you watch football?
Woody, Mangold, Ferguson, Richardson, LT, Pace, Ellis, Scott, Jenkins, Taylor, Folk, Cromartie, Edwards and are all Pro Bowlers.
This would be considered a good team no matter what Jersey it had on.
rahazAug 23, 2010
Good.
Not stacked.
Not best defense in the league.
Just good.
seroevoAug 23, 2010

he;s not from boston, and who ever started this whole, you have to be a big fan of the teams near where you live thing? I lived in baltimore for 3 years, and went to orioles games to watch the yankees beat them. I never wasted my time on a ravens game. Now I'm in Connecticut, there are no sports teams here, do I have to just pick one city (new york or boston) and only like their teams? ill tell you, its the best of both worlds, cause i love the yankees and the patriots.

krahzeeAug 23, 2010
I'm a Jets fan. I'm glad he hates them. That means he respects their ability enough to fear them. Nobody hates the Pittsburgh Pirates or the Royals. They pity them.
Let's see if Scott, Pace and the rest of the Jet's blitz can't help re-enforce that hatred by knocking him on his ass repeatedly...
G.SanchezAug 23, 2010
They seem to go for it last year in the first of the two games of the season against the Pats.
SoCalLongieAug 23, 2010
I love Hard Knocks. I love forward to it every year. They do a great job of showing the technical football stuff as well of the funny off-the-field stuff. There is some really cool cinematography that you wouldn't expect from a show about NFL training camp. Also, the narrator is a pleasure to listen to.
If it wasn't for Hard Knocks, I wouldn't know Mark Sanchez is a cheap bastard who complains about having to pay 53 extra cents for an additional dipping sauce when he orders a pizza.
I SHOULD hate the Jets, as they defeated my Chargers in the playoffs last year. But Rex Ryan is too fun to hate.
jshhmrAug 23, 2010
Don't fret. If the 1st teams were left in the game on Saturday, I am 90% sure that your Chargers would have beat my Cowboys. Rivers looked good, and I don't think you'll miss LT after the performance by Mathews.
sidekicksuicideAug 23, 2010
Exactly this. I had some strong hatred for the Jets after they took out my Bengals in the first round, but I can't get enough Hard Knocks. The show makes hard hits and broken tackles look so beautiful.
I'm pretty sure Sanchez was goofing off for the cameras about the pizza thing.

The Colts made the Jets, if they don't let them win that game at the end of last season, they don't make the playoffs and beat those teams, they don't make any waves, they don't sign all the big name players because no one wants to be there.
The Jets owe half their profits this year to the Colts coaching staff for pulling players....
