Either way if you look at Shaq in 10 years only his time with the Lakers will matter. Even the Heat despite winning his fourth ring there will only be a footnote.

The thing I love about Shaq is that he can say stuff like this and get away with it. He is so ridiculous that its comical and you can't help loving him. If other athletes like Kobe Bryant or David Beckham started getting publicly c**ky, no one would like them. Yet Shaq can have his own show on ABC were he constantly brags about himself and you can't help but liking him.

My above comment was just directed to your passionate dislike of sports. I wouldn't buy his rap album either, it's obvious that he is just doing whatever he can to make some money.

I wasn't born with an exceptional athletic talent to be able to play any sport professionally, and that doesn't bother me. However during my childhood, one of my favorite memories was participating in youth sports because back then it was all about having fun, and not about winning.
I only wrote the above comment because of how negative your first sentence was, and that sports generally provide a positive experience for those participating. Then again, there are many professional athletes who just care about being famous rather than having love for the game.
That being said, I agree with your stance that Shaq is milking every last drop of money he can- but hate is also a strong word to use for something that can be so positive.
