Made popular with 13 diggs.
Almost all of those things are what any athlete says when going into their sports hall of fame.
mkobayashiAug 14, 2010
"I'm gay."
mbraynardAug 14, 2010
Maybe a little nicer, friendlier speech than MJ's.
cglassAug 14, 2010
I know I will get dugg down but I think he is overrated.
cglassAug 14, 2010
More than anything else I've ever said on digg, if you knock Scottie Pippen in any way, you are guaranteed to be dugg down, I was just sharing my thoughts =]Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Don't waste your time, this article contributes absolutely nothing and doesn't deserve the traffic.

Basketball is gay.

So long as he doesn't go on and on about how awesome he is, about how he's always been awesome, about how nobody else has ever come close to his level of awesomeness, and about how everybody in the world should just recognize this as common sense like Jordan did in his speech, I think anything is fine.

"Anyway, you need people of intelligence on this sort of mission... quest... thing."
"Baggins? Sure I know a Baggins - Frodo's my second cousin once-removed, on his mother's side and my third cousin twice-removed on his father's side, if you follow me."
"Nobody else calls us hobbits; we call ourselves that,"
Aragorn: Gentlemen, we do not stop till nightfall.
Pippin: What about breakfast?
Aragorn: You already had it.
Pippin: We've had one, yes. What about second breakfast?
Merry: I don't think he knows about second breakfast, Pip.
Pippin: What about elevensies? Luncheon? Afternoon tea? Dinner? Supper? He knows about them, doesn't he?
Merry: I wouldn't count on it.
Merry: Pippin!
"It comes in pints? I'm getting one!"
"Right. Where are we going"
"Well that's good news!"
"The closer we are to danger, the further we are from harm!"
"This is all ceremonial isn't it? I mean they don't expect me to fight or anything do they?"

I expect them to pass around a donation plate.

Scottie Pippen may never have won a championship without Jordan... but you have to remember that Jordan never won a championship without Pippen either. These guys were the late 80s thru the 90s. I think they both needed each other to win all those games... and they both deserve to be in the hall.
thaatrainAug 14, 2010
I think most of Digg is too young to remember this fact
bigviAug 14, 2010
Thank You Michael Jordan
The end
groggieAug 14, 2010
Scottie Pippen was my favorite player growing up. He and Jordan were the dynamic duo of the early 90s and both needed each other on the court equally. Congrats to him!

Random:
Scottie Pippen is an avid paintballer. I dealt with him personally.
igorunchainedAug 14, 2010
Scottie Pippen was the ultimate teammate...not just in his years with Jordan, but with the Rockets, the Trailblazers, and with the Dream Team. Im glad to see that I wasnt the only one to call him my favorite player and not the only fan who thinks that the Scottie Pippens of the world deserve a spot in the Hall next to the Michael Jordans and (eventually) Kobe Bryants.
