I love how even when we have the opportunity to get a high resolution image of a supposed UFO, we still fail to do it. When I click on that image, I expect to see a 10,000x5,000px image. There's no excuse not to have one if this came from a scientific scan.

Dude, this is Sonar imaging. Unless you're a bat, sonar is not going to give you a crisp clear picture. They're soundwaves. Traveling through hundreds of feet of moving ocean water.

The aliens have thought of that. There technology is way beyond ours. Aboard all of their spacecraft is a sensor that automatically detects a nearby camera, and down-scales and blurs any images taken with it.
And Bigfoot has one too.

Also, it looks like a crater that hasn't been destroyed by ocean currents yet. You can see these all over Earth. Large remnants of meteorite impacts. Just because Earth has wind and water doesn't mean the impacts magically disappear. If you look with the correct tools you can find them.

Not really in defense of the article, BUT it is only a snap shot of a sonar mapping of the object and not a digital image of the object....asking the questions how High Res would you expect sonar to be? Now they would need to send another lighted probe with a camera down for the High Res Pic and then we can give them s**t about how fake that is...

The idea of this being some kind of extraterrestrial object is epic, of course, but it would fascinate me even more if it was something from the ancient times that's completely man made. I like how they say they don't have the funds to do an expedition there. If you could prove alien existence on this planet by finding a freaking UFO, wouldn't you investigate it? It would probably be a little more important than finding a ship.

We have no evidence that this object existed outside of the ocean in the first place, so we don't know if it was "submerged" or "sunken."
