Uhhh, this was in Oakland,CA, on Fruitvale Ave, near the Fruitvale BART station. Without getting into the nature of the neighborhood, I'm pretty damn sure that rednecks didn't do this.

I don't care where this happened, thanks all the same. Someone who fires a shotgun at an endangered family of birds deserves the title. For the benefit of the anal-retentive (please check the strict definition of this, just to be sure) I implied the broad definition of being armed, bigoted, beligerent and against modern ways, which is close to but not the same as the geographically specific "southern slack-jawed inbred white farmer" stereotype.
