What were we talking about?

I was about to read this and opened it up in a tab, but then I got distracted by the "Women bigger sexters" story and forgot to go back to it.

Aw, geez, so does this mean I'm using my dictionary and thesaurus as my memory banks, too??

"...people are using the internet as their personal memory bank. Because information is so easy to access, we remember how to find it, not what the information actually is."
So if/when the next "Dark Age" hits, we're gonna be some seriously ignorant mofos without even books to fall back on.

Wouldn't doubt it. After hours upon hours on the Internet, I forget my logins and even email addresses. hahaha

I had an opinion about this article but I don't remember it.

People use salt to enhance the flavor of their food but a Singapore scientist has discovered that it's also extremely good for improving the memory capacity of computer hard disks.

I remember things I read, but I can never find the place I found it in the first place to make sure the memory is 100% accurate. But in search of it, I find some very f**ked up things, that people who got their brain stuck in one rail with their memory.... ummmm, I have a derailed thought..... I could go for a chicken burger right now. And I'll remember later what the heck I was writing about in the first place.

Some feasible outcomes to consider:
1. Will we genetically alter our DNA to have larger and more powerful brains? And/or
2. Will we integrate computer chips in our brains connected to the internet that have wifi so we can communicate psuedo-telepathically?
2a. Will the computer chips assimilate our personalities or our will?
2a1. Will we become frustrated with the inefficiencies of the biotic mass in our brains, that we decide to go full electronic? and would that necessarily be a bad thing?
2a2. Will we then begin to exclusively conduct cyber-warfare by pirating other's thoughts, and downloading propaganda.
