I bet a potent cannabis extract high in THC would do much better, something like what Rick Simpson has been doing. THC has been proven time and time again to be very good at destroying many types of cancer.

They gave some people new drug and some people old drug. People taking the new drug lived four months longer.

But there are so many factors that come into play ... Is it blind tests - the participants do not know which of the drugs they receive? The individuals general health condition in addition to disorder ... How many people participated in the study!? and so on ... It seems to me anyway it is bit rich to claim such a serious matter ...
