I think it time to start burning those pink ribbon symobls etc. Sounds like the CEO of the Komen Foundation is changing the story too

She's a damned liar, "“The responses that we are getting are really, really favorable,” Brinker said."
Yeah, donations are pouring into Planned Parenthood, even the Mayor of New York is donating $25K and Komen's site was hacked. If that's considered favorable, then she's telling the truth.
bluto36Feb 3, 2012
see more babies will die
it is a great day! be happy nom maybe you can get them to name a killing room for you
glory glory
ushereFeb 3, 2012
bluto36, why don't you offer to look after all those unwanted babies then?
u2canfailFeb 3, 2012
bluto would rather see young women die first. Abortions did go on, before Roe, just on kitchen tables. Then he gets his second high, watching hungry children die slowly from no food and no health care.
Sadist he is. Pro Life he just says.
kgermFeb 3, 2012
also its a blastocyst stem cell, not an embryo. embryonic stem cells originate as inner mass cells within a blastocys. around 10 to 14 days)
this misconception came from Gail R. Martin who is attributed with coining the term "embryonic stem cell"
stand back for ....SCIENCE....
one blastocyst is about 500 too 1000 cells and one drop of blood is about 50,000 cells...
even if i was anti abortion i would have a hard time being against embryonic stem cells research...
kgermFeb 3, 2012
EDIT: The human blastocyst comprises 70-100 cells

Without reproductive planning we will all die. If you want to get high and mighty in religious sense, you may want to re-explore the primary biblical reason for our existence... to be caretakers of the planet and all the living things it contains. By over populating it earth and stripping away it's resources we are certainly failing.
I respect the idea behind right-to-life people, but you are fighting the wrong battle.
kjeffvFeb 3, 2012
"[Y]ou may want to re-explore the primary biblical reason for our existence: to be caretakers of the planet and all the living things it contains."
Semi-reasonable logic, but . . . wrong. It appears *you* did not explore nor re-explore.
skribbleFeb 3, 2012
"till it and care for it." Gen 2:15
Don't let the english translation of 1:28 get in the way. What is loosely translated as "Subdue" does not mean man has a right to destroy the earth at will, in fact there is much throughout the old and new testament (as well as other books from other religions) which explicitly reject this view.
There are numerous theological discussions on this, but the gist of it is that man is able to survive outside of the natural flow things... i.e. create tools, farm, and live along side nature rather then be subjected to it. Some of this phrasing may be to intentionally make the notion of worshiping animals (which was common around the time the old testament was originally written) seem foolish.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

I'm familiar, thx. To repeat: `Snot the reason for our existence.

Is bluto36 so 'afeared" for the entirety of the preborn fertilized sack of cell clumps that he is willing to take them on in his body then allow them to be C-sectioned out at term? Then take on the care and education for the next 18 years?
When he is, then he has something to say.
I am certain that won't stop him.
It is generally one person hiding behind the anonymity of a computer screen, in the comfort and safety of the knowledge that he isn't one to ever be touched by the issues at hand that are the most vehement about forcing these things upon others.
Male with no chance of being touched by a pregnancy from rape, the threat of childbirth to his life, giving up on dreams of education or promotion or jobs or life because of the financial burden and physical burden for the next 18 years.
The one's who are the most opinionated wanting to have the power over those from whom he would steal it.
Just like the wealthy chickenhawks who support bloodshed and war and the slaughter of millions when they are safe and sound in mommy's basement of the manse or daddy paid off enough judges to keep him from the draft in the 60's; or has no question of being supported by trust funds and inheritance 0 the Cheney's, the Bush's, the Romneys
Or would kill welfare when they know they will never be in want
Or want to kill Social Security or "privatize" when they know they have their own net holding them.

I did find it amusing that Rand Paul refused a hand body search, over his clothing by TSA. He said he had the right to his own body, not government. Rand Paul was going to a meeting, ProLife meeting where he was to speak on "GOVERNMENT CONTROL OF ALL UTERUS". 1st he does not even have a uterus. 2nd, the uterus is an interior body part on a woman. It is OK with him for the government to control interior body part on others, but never lay a hand on the outside of his body.
I am guessing he is for TSA cavity searches?Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Yes it is favorable. Very FAVORABLE to Planned Parenthood, just not however, to KOMEN, as she wanted you to think.
I posted their corporate sponsor links, but it is easier to just go to their website, and see who to write next.
superkendallFeb 3, 2012
I for one am donating money to Komen. I have in the past but I applaud them sticking to the core of the mission they should have been after all along - researching breast cancer, not being involved in pushing hot-button political issues.
They will be getting more of my money, not less, as a result of gaining clarity.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
ikorkyiFeb 3, 2012
planned parent hood gives free breast exams to anyone, and stem cells are the cutting edge of research in fighting cancer.
if Komen was a pair of t**s, they've effectively cut off the healthy one and have a growing cancer in the other. the irony.
beverlystilesFeb 3, 2012
Really? Only seventeen per cent of their funding actually goes to breast cancer research, while their CEO pulls down an annual salary of $500,000. Yes, those zeroes are correct.
ncmusicFeb 3, 2012
Even though the folded like a cheap suit?
u2canfailFeb 3, 2012
What? Planned Parenthood is the #1 provider of mammograms at a reduced cost or free rate in the USA. Oh, right I forget, poor people do not count.
ushereFeb 3, 2012
name change - khomeini perhaps?
don't you just love it when the lunatics take over the asylum....

You have a great sense of humor! Thank you. I am on digg for the funnies, you win.

Komen policy VP Republican Karen Handel ran for governor of Georgia on a platform that included defunding Planned Parenthood -

Contact info for Komen - http://ww5.komen.org/contact.aspx
I made a donation to Planned Parenthood today. Unfortunately, or not, it's not possible to specify on behalf of the Komen Foundation.

I support PP but it should NOT be publicly funded. This episode has shown that private funding can work for PP, and it should.
u2canfailFeb 4, 2012
I took the pink ribbons off the cars, and donated to PP today. KOMEN has decided CANCER IS GREAT, and more women should die.
novenatorFeb 2, 2012
This stuff keeps piling up: http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/02/02/komen-foundation-ousted-their-democratic-lobbyist-just-before-hiring-karen-handel/
charlotte_webFeb 3, 2012
Yeah, I wonder what backroom deal their Democratic lobbyist had to make that forced Komen to give $680,000 to PP, an organization that doesn't do mammograms?

u2canfailFeb 3, 2012
Simple answer for you: Planned Parenthood provides the most free and reduced cost mammograms in the USA. If KOMEN were serious about breast cancer support is a no brainer. Now that they have decided Cancer is great, more should die, we have no need to donate at all.
raggsat98Feb 4, 2012
PP does NOT provide Mammo's
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aq0kBkUZbvQ
What they provide is mostly "surgical" services.
andromedastarFeb 4, 2012
They provide vouchers for mammography but not all breast exams are mammograms. comparing apples to Studebakers again
u2canfailFeb 3, 2012
Komen has Corporate Sponsors, I feel a campaign against all of them coming!
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM write and tell them why.
sleestakslayerFeb 3, 2012
As a private foundation, they are allowed to decide how to allocate their resources.
u2canfailFeb 4, 2012
