Forests are an important carbon sink; too bad over 7 billion acres of Earth's forests have been removed, much of that in the last 150 years, and additionally, we continue to deforest several millions of acres every year. On top of that, we are releasing an ever increasing amount of CO2 into the atmosphere every single year and as more and more countries industrialize, it is only going to compound the problem.
Good, so we can blame 3rd world places like Brazil for our problem, rather than the energy habits of 1st world countries like the US.
Why should I have to spend twice as much for electricity in an effort to force me to reduce my energy consumption, when it's the Brazilians destroying the world's ability to absorb carbon dioxide?
Is this news? This was all established at least a decade ago. The folks who understand science already get it. The crazies are never going to believe anything you tell them, so why waste your time.
That @DiggFerkel guy is an acting example of the effect fox news propaganda has on people who are so PARANOID. These ppl will believe what Glenn Beck & Fox say bc it feels good to hear someone on tv say "your right & their wrong!"
Better start building some solar powered carbon collectors before it gets too late for some plants and animals! All these schmucks with the big bucks and we all still feel like we're living in the stone age! f**king slacker ass corporations slowing the world down and buying copyrights to s**t that would better the world! f**k these corporate d**kh**ds!
i have been saying this for the last 7 years....the sun is cooling but the earth is heating up...now that we are on the up side of the quietude watch out...things be burning up...
400,000+ years of ice core temperature samples show that:
1. We've been in a warming period for over 15,000 years
2. This is at least the 4th one that has occurred
3. The temperatures in this one aren't as high as some of the previous ones.
A subtle, gradual, interglacial warming period followed by a relatively sudden skyrocketing warming juggernaut that started with the industrial revolution.
Mt. St. Helens created in one blast, more carbon dioxide than all of humanity thus far. how can this be substantiated as correct when peer review science teams all over the world know this as fake. It is just an anti humanist sentiment to make it so they can tax you for your breath. Remember, you breath carbon dioxide.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
It's kind of weird that Lou Dobbs created space.com. I don't share his views on immigration but the man has defended atheists and freedom from religion on CNN many times.
Buried for global warming lies and hysterical nonsense.

Ha! You mean the global warming data that was deleted or lost right before it was supposed to be released to the public? Or maybe you mean those e-mails that were leaked showing how the data was manipulated and/or fudged to promote a certain outcome.
So, with no data supporting the theory of global warming, all we have is innuendo and assertions.
But, we have lots of data that says we're in a cooling cycle now.
OK, you're not even trying now. again with the emails? "no data supporting the theory of global warming"? this is right up there with you calling the president an "illegal alien". You need some rest.

From the perspective of living in the stone age...cant say i that i agree; at least I don't feel as if i am living in the stone age.
Also, anyone one who reads this and thinks 'i live in the stone age' while typing on a computer, has missed the point entirely.

Doesn't matter what you lib/looters say. We are not going to voluntarily pauperize ourselves for this. Europe may. We won't.

This does not mean that Climate Change is not real, and it is being caused by humans, and that it will have devastating effects on our society.

Citation?

No, this is paranoia. You should be taxed for using carbon intensive products and services that require the use of fossil hydrocarbons.
