What science? I keep asking you for sources of these fantastic claims and you can never provide any. Do you actually have sources of scientific data or is this just your opinion. It would seem so as, contrary to what you claim, "the warmists" have overwhelming supporting science.

John's correct. No one knows better than I. I tend to see things for what they are. The view you have taken is the same as Republicans and Libertarians. Climate change creates weird weather patterns that can give the illusion of a cooling trends even though it is science fact the earth's average temp is warmer. It just proves that conservatives don't want to understand the science behind weather. Mountain glaciers are not like arctic glaciers. Kilimanjaro, one it looses it's glaciers could take many millennium to get them back. It supplies fresh water to hundreds of thousands of people. Once it goes... no fresh water.

One of my conservative friends once commented smugly, "Scientist say that the earth's average temperature has risen by one degree. Big deal... what's the difference in one degree?!"
I replied, "One degree is difference between ice and water.". He stopped, looked at me, took a sip of beer then got up and walked away.
Temperature goes up... water flows down. You can't explain that!

"Suspect" based on what? Because the theory that you routinely pooh-pooh has an abundance of supporting evidence. There is a vast difference between suspecting something and being >95% certain of something.
And the warming cycle covers the period of recorded temperature data. In geological terms that is small, but the clear trend indicates anything but cooling.

I knew you where joking, but the sad thing some people actually believe that. Some "scientists" actually believe it! I was once at a GSA convention and some fully grown men with degrees in Geology where attempting to argue the possibility of that particular "theory". Every sane person within earshot was just sighing and shaking their head.
