I think its awesome that technology has come so far. Helping people with disabilities is what technology was made for. Hopefully one day all the blind will see and all the deaf will hear and the dumb will speak.
Part of the benefit of the wave of SEO interest is that Alt tags, keywords and descriptions aren't being ignored anymore. Helpful for the blind even if not intended to.

Normally I would tell people get over it and get used to upgrades, but this isn't an upgrade. The new reply scheme is great, and I'm sure theres a lot of backend upgrades, but some of the UI choices end up ruining the common digg browsing paradigm.
