Yes, because that's what NASA does, that's what ALL scientists do. We sit around on our asses all day photoshopping pretty pictures while we waste billions of research dollars on yachts and wild sex parties.[/overthetopsarcasm]
... the stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me
Incidentally, for those interested the image of question was actually taken back in 2006 - APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day) basically had a rerun and people have been jumping on it as new news.

You get yachts and wild sex parties? The most we get is um ... I think the homebrew club is having an octoberfest party, and another group is having a paella night for hispanic heritage month.
And we spend a lot of time replying back to people who are convinced that we're covering up evidence of aliens, and don't understand that (1) compression artifacts cause things to appear in pictures (2) just because the blob is 4 pixels across doesn't mean it's hundreds of miles across. It could be inches from the telescope, and without a second angle, you have no way to calculate the distance or size) (3) whn there's a similar blob in the next exposure that's in a different place doesn't mean it's traveling hundreds of miles per hour because we don't know how far away it is, or if it's even the same thing. (and it's not, because it's a compression artifact)
(and yes, we do reply back to people so long as they're not abusive, because they might be tax payers, and in 90% of the cases, once we explain it to them, they go and correct the people on the forums posting about 'giant ufos around the sun' )

You didn't get your yacht? It should have been delivered before the 5th. Sure you didn't overlook a '30 footer' out on the lawn?

Well at least his logic is sound.

Paranoid. This is done by people who think some agency in the America is what entire world is following and looking at.

If NASA did fake those images, why would they do such a crappy job? Why not just go with an image that is so safe and traditional?

There's someone with problems here... but I don't think it's who he thinks it is.

Look at many nebulas- they show 2-d explosions, not 3 d

I have said for years that Saturn was a hoax but no one
would listen. The media hates rebel scientists like me and Galileo and Einstein.
The so-called 'Saturn-consensus' is just that; 'so-called'.
Most scientists do not consider Saturn as a 'fact' merely a 'theory'.
Not to mention, Consensus does not make Science.
No!
Real Science comes from heroes in white lab coats wielding clip-boards
and calculators in cold white laboratories where rats scuttle restless in cages
like thoughts in your mind at 3:00 am.
Those who peddle tax-crushing job-killing 'Saturn-ism'?
- need to read a bit about basic science!
Ask yourself this; why do Vikings maps from the Little Ice Age
not show 'Saturn' on their detailed maps of the stars?
Wake up, Sheep-persons!
Who BENEFITS from the existence of Saturn? Whose tax money goes
to feed these endless mouths of scientists scuttling for grants like baby
rats? Big Science, that's who! Fuzzy scientists fudging fuzzy science! with beards!
Also please support your local energy conglomerate.
Thank you.
