GPU's are a lot of copy/past. CPU's are vastly more complicated and the only copy/past part is the cache memory. in fact they are mostly designed by hand, while a GPU is in large part designed by a computer.

The PC will get better but it will still not have much need for GPS, Camera or phone making it the weaker devise.
