I can't believe this. This is a great vid to complement the pics of oil-soaked birds and sea life
craighwkJun 26, 2010
Except the birds don't really have a choice. These idiots do.
random12345Jun 26, 2010
"It wasn't out here this morning, though."
tommedwardsJun 26, 2010
Am I the only one surprised that dumb bitch didn't go all mental when a strange man came up and started filming her kids in their swimsuits?

I was there last summer. Those beaches are usually beautiful. They're going to be affected by this for years to come.
bizwiz2Jun 25, 2010
Wonder what the parents were thinking.
altorJun 27, 2010
"I think I see a KFC... I wonder if this nice man with a camera would babysit my kids for me while I go get a double-down"
amyvernonJun 25, 2010
Not to blame the victim, and not to excuse BP at all, but why would anyone go to the beach anywhere on the Gulf right now and then be surprised they get oil all over them? I would never let my kids go in the water right now in any Gulf state. If the oil's not there yet, it's only a matter of time. It's sad, it makes me made that it is the case - it absolutely should not be - but what on EARTH were those parents thinking???
sivart84Jun 26, 2010
At least that lady came prepared with some Goo Gone!

Does it make you so mad that you have to put an 'e' at the end of mad?
recruzJun 26, 2010
They're too fat to understand anything
peekmanJun 26, 2010
You are 100% wrong that it's "only a matter of time" until the oil gets there. Lots of beaches on the Gulf will not be touched.
redsfaithfulJun 25, 2010
Parents of the year right there. When those kids have cancer later in life at least they'll have this video that shows them why it happened.
dugdug1Jun 26, 2010
Come 10 years, sue BP for use of dispersant, profit!!
Parents of the Year? Nope.
Investors of the Year? yeah.
hawk3210Jun 26, 2010
This is horrible, but I'm glad this video here. It's something for people who aren't in the area to get a very real look at the damage.
anothersoldierJun 26, 2010
idk who diggs these kind of posts down, but I dugg you back up.
thedoodlerJun 26, 2010
And the fat morons on the beach. Way to be classy, America.
carguyJun 26, 2010
We're so f**ked.
xcelJun 26, 2010
I live in Destin which is an hour drive from Pensacola. The tar balls have hit us and I was in shock. When I saw them I couldn't help but tear up. It's so sad. Big oil has ruined our sugary white beaches.
harbinger666Jun 26, 2010
Dammit, I was waiting for the oil to make it there but was hoping it wouldn't. Those beaches (Destin to PC) are gorgeous. And now they're f**ked, thank you BP!
pluhhmmJun 26, 2010
Smart parents.
ubermannJun 26, 2010
FUBP!
drewski813Jun 26, 2010
I don't understand why those people are still playing at the beach... "mommy get it off", "I can't, but lets just stay here and keep playing in it."
i wonder how many kids got oil in their mouth.

If a fully grown adult wants to swim in that filth, all the power to them. When you make your kids do it, they should be arrested.
deadbabysoupJun 26, 2010
Thats horrible this oil has gotten out of conBZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz

mcmaster88Jun 26, 2010
Protip: Getting oil or tar off your feet is easily done with tooth paste and a tooth brush. Been doing it for years.
parrappaJun 26, 2010
"She doesn't want it on her feet"
What gave it away?
schwackJun 26, 2010
Quote from the mom in the video. "We brought GOO-GONE". I use that s**t to clean my f**king GRILL. OF COURSE ITS A SAFE TOPICAL on the skin!. When you have that one fleeting moment; where you think people aren't really that stupid, you see this..

My god. After watching those moms, I now know we are doomed. People are just too f**king stupid to give a s**t. The only person that seems to realize how f**ked up the situation other than the camera man is a 5 year old girl.
kevineJun 26, 2010
Wow...at least a pelican doesn't have news reports letting it know what's going on, nor does it have much ability to leave the gulf or know where to go. But you lady, you and your family, you're just bathing your stupid fat asses in the stuff, completely ignorant of the word carcinogen.

what do you think is more dangerous, those kids on that beach or you driving them to school?
Closed AccountJun 26, 2010
...They need to just avoid holding it in that way.
rkstarJun 26, 2010
Isn't the oil on the beach toxic?
dreamspirit3Jun 26, 2010
Actually rainbows are light which is electromagnetic radiation. Radiation causes cancer so technically Rainbows can cause cancer.

loplaJun 26, 2010
I prefer my kids to play in raw sewage, oil is for pussies.
haschJun 26, 2010
But Mooooom, why can't we get oil on our beach?
joannchiladaJun 26, 2010
I've never been to a Gulf coast beach, but I've been to Cape Cod and other New England beaches my entire life, and I can't imagine not being able to go because oil was choking the water, the ocean life, and washing up on shore. I can't imagine seeing all the boats removed from Boston and Newport harbor, all the fishermen out of work... it's all a way of life up here as it is down there.
recruzJun 26, 2010
Americans are so huge
electrikyleJun 26, 2010
The images in this video are both great and disturbing at the same time, but I think most people got that it was oil on the beach after the first 6 times he said it.
jestersevenJun 26, 2010
I just knew my link wouldn't make it to the front page, though my prediction that it would be Mr Babyman that got it on there was a little off. Digg mafia ftw!

is this against the law? For the parents to do this to the kids I mean.
Seriously, find out who these f**king retards are & start making calls to social services.
suasponte2009Jun 26, 2010
So sad. I'm moving to the Gulf Coast in a few weeks from Northern California. I'm going from Carmel Beach to this crap! I hate BP!!
