Colbert Wins NASA's Node 3 Naming Contest

ccinsider.comedycentral.com — Colbert urged viewers of his Comedy Central show, "The Colbert Report" to write in his name. And they complied, with 230,539 votes. That clobbered Serenity, one of the NASA choices, by more than 40,000 votes. — Submitted Mar 23, 2009

I think the design is called Orion. Anyways, there should be more than one shuttle replacement.

I have the solution. NASA can name the new quarters Serenity and name the the rest rooms within the new quarters Colbert. I'd pinch a loaf there.

WTF???? why would people vote for something as meaningless as COLBERT? i voted for GAIA, which would have been a much better selection. not only does it mean earth, but it's also a online community(which i am a member of). i think it's about time for us gaians to be heard. i guese i can except something else like SERENETY or XENU, but COLBERT? seriously? he's a comedian, NOTHING MORE. do you people realy want his name to be the name of something this important? and as i said before, its time for gaians to be heard around the world and beyond. you better choose GAIA when you make the final choice nasa. >:[
