I hate seeing these. I see at least a couple a year, since I started reading Popular Mechanics when I was 12. Not the creativity part of it. It's that they are never news of actual implementation, a real product. Yet they are release like so many news stories and articles.
Show me the thing launching in real life, please. I can watch Battlestar Galactica if I want fake spaceships.
