When you keep imagining your political opponents as evil as possible to hate them more (like Hitler comparisons), then what you’re really hating is really things that exist in your own psyche.
You might want to focus more on self-examination than political arguments.

"history never repeats itself, though it sometimes rhymes"
-Mark Twain
Walker is not Hitler. That being said, both are/were far right politicians seeking to smash opponents and consolidate power and control for corporations using lies, propaganda, and fear/hate. There are historical parallels between the rabid anti-left, anti-organized labor that took place in central Europe in the late 20's and 30's to what is happening in America today, although obviously this time around it is a kinder, gentler, slower process that started with Reagan smashing the ATC union and starting the class warfare process by which the poor made no real gains but were forced to work harder so that the rich could get richer.
Fascism, corporatism, whatever you want to call it is a very real and very dangerous phenomena, and it is taking place right now in the US.
First they came for the socialists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

"Walker is not Hitler."
You should have stopped there. Instead you reneged.

Obviously he's not Hitler -- Hitler is dead <joke>, OK, but if we're going to believe politifact and I think we should, then here's the:
Lie of the *year*:
"Our Lie of the Year prompted a flood of e-mails, columns and editorials. Readers who voted in our poll agreed with us that the claim that the health care law is a "government takeover" deserved to be the Lie of the Year"
Thank you for supporting me here on this outrageous lie told about health care.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

I think there is an itsy bitsy difference between limiting certain specific powers of the unions (while still leaving them with quite an array powers), and sending people to gas chambers.

If I have a choice between Walkers fascism or Obamas communism I guess I will have to go with Walker.
But instead of calling him by his fake name "Scott Walker" we should just call him Adolf Hitler.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

How about the explosive statement from Senator Fitzgerald that if they can win this battle it will weaken the chances of Obama winning Wisconsin. As is plainly clear, this is an agenda driven piece of legislation that has nothing to do with the budget. Apparently these clowns havn't figured out yet that by stripping away rights that have been in place for more than fifty years, didn't strip away their voting rights. With a recall now well underway, that will also become plainly clear.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
