Burying a human body does have a number of considerations that need to be taken into account when it comes to choosing a location. For example, nobody would want the waste from a decomposing human body in their drinking water. That said, the folks in Sidney seem like they just don't want Muslims buried in their community. Pretty sad, and pretty hateful.

Just cause it's on private property doesn't make it okay. A grave yard in someones back yard in the suburbs would not be okay with me at all. But since it seems everything was done legally and on a large plot of land I'm fine with it.

I don't care if they wear it in their society, but covering your face goes deeply against the values of my society. Also f**k respecting peoples made up superstitions.
However the Sufi are good people (well, as much as the superstitious can be), people should not be frightened by them. Sufi are not terrorists, but rather the victims of it.

There's no reference to women wearing bags over their heads in the koran. It must be because the women are so ugly? I bet there's a lot of "double-baggers" over there, in all those failing or failed 'Stan states. The only reason some muslim women where burkas or burqas, or however the word is spelled, is that Islam developed in a sandy environment. The people who became Muslims, the natives of Saudi Arabia, Iraq and such, wore burkas way before Islam, Christianity or Judiasm was ever thought of. What people fail to realize is the what people do in the name of Islam, is the same stuff they did before Islam was around. Just like the fact that Christians have a Christimas on December 25 and an Easter in the Spring. Those types of holiday's were celebrated by pagans before Christianity was even a thought.
My whole point is that Burkas did and in some areas still provide a function to the wearer. It just happens that majority of the people who live/lived in those areas are/were Muslim.

The burqua was developed by Central Asian (Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc) Muslim communities.
Arab women in more fundamentalist societies (aka Saudi Arabia) were a face covering called niqāb, however, state law in Saudi Arabia only requires woman to cover their head with a scarf (hijab).
The fact is, contrary to what most idiots tell you, most Muslim woman CHOOSE to wear a face covering as a sign of their faith. What most also forget to mention is that in strict fundamentalist societies MEN are also subject to specific dress standards.

Another interesting note, my father told me that back in the 40's and 50's catholic women had to cover their heads when they went to church.

If these families are bullied into digging up the remains of their loved ones, at their own expense of course, to send them to their home countries for a more respectful and civilized burial, I will bet any amount of money that Michelle Malkin will use this as proof how much Muslims hate America.
How much must they hate our values if they will not even allow their dead to be buried here?! Malkin and Glenn Beck will both have a lady Chatterley crisis if they get that chance.
Fortunately, most other countries are even worse than us.
