Yes, there is a link. The anti-Muslim rhetoric has been played out consistently, even linking President Obama as some secret Kenyan Muslim, trying to infiltrate the White House for some nefarious plot to take over the world, cuz you know, he's the Antichrist. You can see how they are linking the Muslim faith, with something dark and evil.
