They are proud of their attacks on mosques, are for violence against gays, are for white supremacy, think there is a vast conspiracy to take their guns away, and think they have compromised too much and need to get tough, among other things too numerous to mention.
ChuppacabraFeb 12, 2012
Yes.
And all liberals think everyone regardless of education or skill should be paid the same, unless that person is part of a minority, then (s)he should be paid double to make reparations for all inequities imposed upon their ancestors by The Evil White Europeans.
That no other people in the World would attack us or have an interest in bringing America down if it weren't for those evil, money grubbing Capitalist Republicans who keep injecting their Anti-Earth, Anti-Human Race, quaint Judeo-Christian beliefs upon the rest of Mankind.
That the road to true societal evolution is through the implementation of a cetralized authority structure comprised of the smartest and brightest, who can then make the best decisions for all of us, since we are too ignorant to truly know what is best for us.
Oh wait.
I was trying to put together a sarcastic post.
But Progressive Liberals really do believe this tripe.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Fear and smear. Fear and smear.
Fear and smear is all you've got. Your own primaries are all the proof needed.
ChuppacabraFeb 12, 2012
Not quite.
Obama and a fully crashed economy is all the proof I need.
timelessbwFeb 12, 2012
At what point did the economy crash? Who got left holding the bag with a congress whose main agenda has been by their own admission to make Obama a one term president?
aadyssFeb 12, 2012
timelessbw,
Are your people (the liberal Democrats) going to refuse to run someone against the next republican president for fear of looking like you want him to be a "one term president" or are you simply going to forget all of your tears and gnashing of teeth in 2010, 2011 and 2012 over the republicans desiring the greatest "sin"- a one term Democrat presidency?
Look at what you did to poor H.W. Bush in 1994. Are you hypocrites or has a Democrat Congress never wanted a one term republican presidency.
Are you actually ever going to repeat that "one term presidency" again or are you going to stick more with the "White Supremacist" charges or the charges that their minds are clouded by religious zealotry?Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Don't you mean,
"Whose Party had absolute majority in the Congress during the last 2 years of Bush, and the first two years of Obama, and sent the American economy into a headlong nosedive?"
You can't have it both ways.
You guys always want to take credit for the balanced budget under Clinton (enacted by a Republican Congress), but now you want to blame Bush for the crash ObaMessiah and his crony Chicagoland corrupt hooglums foisted upon us.

Let's see, the Democrats had majorities in both the House and Senate during Bush's last two years, but the economic problems were somehow all Bush's fault.
Democrats had the White House and both the House and Senate during Obama's first two years and still have the White House and Senate, but somehow it's still the Republicans' fault?
In the liberals' eyes, if there was only one Republican congressman in all of Washington DC, he'd be responsible for all the woes of the country.

Don't worry.
If I was stupid enough to think a guy with 142 days total federal goverment service was experienced enough to run the largest, most complex economy in the world, I'd be trying to figure out a way to point my finger at everyone else, too.
I mean seriously! 142 days? 142 days wouldn't make you qualified to run the local kindergarten much less a state....and certainly not a Nation.

No, it's my way of pointing out that we're easily manipulated when we're angry. This has been done for years by the Republicans and now all they have is anger. No reason, no ethics, no new ideas. Just anger. I just want a rational government. All that CPAC craziness is the opposite.
Obama is not king. He cannot wave his hand to fix every little problem he wants to. Having an opposing party that is angry to the point of being irrational doesn't help.
What failures are you speaking of? The failure to help fend off a depression? Nope, he did that. The failure to address our broken health care system. He tried, made some progress but again, irrational Republicans were in the way.
If you're talking about the "failure" to allow some sects to impose their will upon the majority. The "failure" to allow corporations free will to dominate our lives. Then your definition of failure is warped and sick.
McCain/Palin would have just been a continuation of the Bush failures. (Remember how the economy tanked, two wars started, the Enron debacle and how our environment took a beating?)
Sorry to hear that you're one of the angry haters. Please try to heal yourself somehow.
PS: So the number of days with federal leadership is the best qualification for office? Cool! Even more reason to vote for Obama again this year!

Yeah that's the excuse you use for Barry. But when it was Bush in office, he was responsible for everything that went wrong in the world. Gotta love that double standard. I used to think you guys were aware a double standard was being applied, but just sort of snickered and shrugged your shoulders. Now I'm starting to believe most of you really don't see it - or have been duped into believing the same standards should not be applied.
I have an idea for you - instead of letting Maddow, Mathews, and Schulz spoon feed you your world view, go out and read the book, "1984". I know Orwell was a fat old White Guy (all reasons to earn your ridicule and scorn), but he was really on to something.

OK, if you ended this post pointing out that 'over exaggerations' attributed to Liberals is equally silly, I would have agreed. But, you end by saying this 'defines liberalism'. It does not. Liberals do not want 'equal pay' as a collective. Your other examples stretch the truth as well.
The author brings forward some of the more egregious examples from CPAC. You then 'pull out' exaggerations to paint Liberals as extreme. This is a pretty good representation of what's wrong in American politics. Way over attribute evil attributes to your opposition and then vanquish them. America loses. But at least we win some battles.
ChuppacabraFeb 14, 2012
Glad you got the point, JSNP.
There are a few Liberals (shocker alert) even right here on Digg who 100% support all that silly crap I wrote.
And I'm certain there are Conservatives who go blind on the extreme end of our platform as well.
What I will tell you is there a great number of people on my side who honestly believe our values, our morals, and our traditions as Americans are being pulled out from under us by some insidious force. Our children are having history rewritten for them by the Public School system, and I, for one, believe this is part of a grand plot.
America isn't great because She embraced Socialism. America is great because of the Opportunites She provides everyone to rise to whatever level of achievement those people dare to dream.
This isn't about silly tax rates on the rich.
That's a red herring argument. I'd agree we fluctuate back and forth over the decades deciding what's "fair" for the wealthy to be paying.
This is a battle for the soul of our Nation. Are we raising a bunch of kids holding their collective hands out for the "freebie" from the Government?
Or are we raising kids who figure out they can go earn enough money to buy that new bicycle they want if they go out every Saturday and mow a few lawns?
JustSayNoPartyFeb 14, 2012
OK, good deal. From past conversation, I thought that would be your point. Because I 'lean left' but strive for 'no party' affiliation, I wouldn't go as far as you. But, I can go half way. I too want this to be the land of Opportunity. My beef would I believe you over state the 'Socialism' and 'hand out' threat. I don't believe that accurately defines liberals or their goals. Personally, I still want that 'sharply focused' safety net when people truly fall between the cracks (not due to laziness). If your able and theirs opportunity, it's incumbent on you to take the opportunity. If your not-able, then theirs a safety net.
ChuppacabraFeb 15, 2012
I worked one full time and 2 part time jobs after I got out of the Army in order to put myself through college. Yeah, the Army offered a 2 for 1 incentive to put money aside for school, but I couldn't afford to take it trying to make ends meet as a married private E-1. It certainly was nothing compared to the FANTASTIC GI Bill they get nowadays.
And because I was self employed at my full time job (working as a farrier) I wasn't eligible for any benefits like medical or unemployment at either of my two part time jobs.
Was it hard work? Absolutely.
But I struggled and fought my way through and I believe it made me a better, more self assured, more self reliant man today.
Now I hear these kids expecting my to fork over what I busted my ass to earn so the Government can "forgive" their loans (I had student loans too. But I paid mine off). Or so it can afford to keep their buddies in the autoworkers unions in jobs as we bail out the auto industry. Or so we pay for health insurance for people too lazy to do what I did and improve their positions in life.
No, my Friend, the Freebie Mentality cannot be understated. Our Nation is under seige by people whose deliberate intention is to create an entire generation dependent on Government for their very existence.
I don't know how old you are, JSNP, but if you are 30ish - mark my words - when you are my age you are going to be sitting around shaking your head wondering, "What the hell were we thinking?"

The fact they had 2 white supremacists ALONG with Tony Perkins the little ball of furry hate on a panel discussing how multiculturalism is destroying America aught to tell Americans that unless you don’t have a blind hatred of other than white you are not welcome in the republican party. This HAS to be used in November. And this SHOULD embarrass every single republican who calls himself an American to death
Im betting that’s why Palin finally accepted the invite to speak. They finally had enough white supremacists on the stage to make her little red shoes tingle
Why is the GOP doing everything it can to not be elected?

Yes, Robert "KKK" Byrd as people like you call him. He spent his life working in the U.S. Senate AND apologizing over and over and over again for his racist past. He kept apologizing until he died.
Jesse Helms (R) and Strom Thurmond (R) never apologized for their racism. They carried their racism to their grave. Strom hid a mixed-race love child born of a sixteen-year-old family servant for 78 years. It bears repeating - 78 years he denied his child a father. The only reason that little fact came to light is because Strom died.

You are describing the modus operandi of Haraldsson of politicusUSA and politicusUSA itself. I have pointed out numerous lies that Haraldsson promotes with his bigoted missives about Christianity.
A few weeks ago Haraldsson even even went so far as to accuse Christians of olden days (centuries before Christianity came into existence) of sacrificing children to their God when in fact it was his religion, the Pagans doing that dirty deed. The guilty were pagans and Jews who fell away from Judaism (where human sacrifice was illegal) who were sacrificing children to a Pagan god. Haraldsson, as he himself states,is no fan of any monotheistic religion therefore has an equal hatred of Islam as well as Christianity yet here in this article, he comes to the defense of a religion he hates so he may attack another religion he equally hates. I believe that's called political expediency. The man has no ethical base so why should I even consider him as a creditable source of information? The better question would be, why would you consider him as a credible source?

politicususa.com.....yeah.....liberal of liberal sites.
"Insane" lies Obama told......To get sympathy and ethinic votes.
-My Name is African Swahili. Liar! Your name is Arabic! All three of your names are Arabic! And Barack means Blessed One in Arabic which you confirmed in your book "Dreams of My Father" that your name means Blessed One! Thus it can not be Swahili! By Obama's own accounts to reporters over the years and thru Ancestory.com, Obama is 8/16(50%) Irish-America on his mothers side, 7/16(43.75%) Middle Eastern Arab, and 1/16(.0625%) Kenyan-African. You people need to get a grip on him being black. He is not.
-"My mother was denied food stamps to support us when I was a child." INCREDIBLE Lie! This one is disgusting! Why? Food Stamps were not even available in the early 1960s when he was a child thus there was no way for you Mr. Obama to make the claim!. Secondly, You Mr. Obama, lived in a foreign country until you were sent to live with your grandmother who was well off and had enough money to send you to Harvard! Thus you lied to make your past seem poor. The pure fact is that you were raised in an upper middle class fashion all your life! You have always seen privilege and do not have any concept what people who are on food stamps feel as to the demoralizing efforts it takes to get on food stamps and by the effects of scorn seen especially prior to 1990s on those who had food stamps!
-My School in Indonesia was Christian. Lie. You went to a muslim school! Even in the Catholic school, you were registered as a devout muslim with special islamic required lessons beyond that of a general registered muslim!
-I blame my early drug use on ethnic confusion!. Lie. You never once said that in your books. Not once. All your teen friends say they remember you as Barry and you were very happy to be Barry to the people around you! You never once ever said you had a problem being half Arab, half white! All your family and friends say you were well adjusted! In fact, in your book "Dreams of my Father", you were upset with your half brother who lives here in America as not being properly adjusted to being African in your Black Liberation rant! Only thing anyone from your past says that bothered you was the fact that your father abandoned you.
-I was a law professor. Huge Lie! You were never hired as a law professor by any college or university. You were to be a guest lecturer but you have been on leave and thus never gave one single lecture!
- I was a constitutional Lawyer. Wow!! You were never hired by any company as a constitutional lawyer and never worked on any case which bears your name on constitutional issues. With the one law firm you were with, you were on leave to be a guest lecturer.
-"I had to work hard and I grew up in humble circumstances." Damn, he just doesn't stop. Your own Campaign and website in July 29, 2008 admits that before you graduated college and passed the bar, you only had two summer jobs in your whole life! Both of those were internships and school related. The truth is Mr. Obama, you have no clue what its like to have to get up at the crack of dawn to go to work wether you want to or not to put food on the table for your family. I mean being a Community Organizer doesn't have early office hours.
-My Father was a proud freedom Fighter. Liar! Your father fled Kenya when the freedom fighters came.
-My father was a goat herder. Lie. Your father was a rich prince whose first job was at age 16 for the Kenyan Government! Your African Grandmother Obama has stated this many times that your father was privileged and spoiled!
-My grandmother has always been a christian. Liar! Your grandmother who is 85 does the salat prayers every 5am and is a muslim. She has said in several interviews that she is most devout in the Islamic faith. Your white grandparents, you mothers parents, are dead now! But the woman who raised you for your white grandfather is not a christian either but an atheist!
-"I want to be president of these 57 states." Oh Please .... There is 50 not 57 States in the United States. But there is 57 States within the Islamic union! Gee! A Freudian slip of the tounge maybe.
With that last one said I'll quit. But there are many more..............
http://lunaticoutpost.com/Topic-100-LIES-OBAMA-HAS-TOLD
These two I just have to get in there.......
The outrageous Debbie Wasserman Schultz, president of the prestious, he he, DNC:
“Mommy, are you going to get shot”: After Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot in Arizona, Wasserman Schultz used her daughter’s anxiety to score political points: “After my daughter heard that, you know, Gabby had been shot, the first thing she asked me was, you know, ‘Mommy, are you going to get shot? Does that mean you're going to get shot?
Way to go schultz. Play off of everyones fears. But Obama does that all of the time. Class warfare being one of them.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John Kerry: Media Has ‘Responsibility’ to ‘Not Give Equal Time’ to those he doesn’t agree with:
The current Massachusetts senator and former presidential candidate lambasted those he doesn’t agree with and the idea that they should be given “equal time” in the media. According to him, their ideas are so wacky that they don’t deserve air time.
“And I have to tell you, the media in America has a bigger responsibility than it’s exercising today. The media has got to begin to not give equal time or equal balance to an absolutely absurd notion just because somebody asserts it or simply because somebody says something."
WOW!!! Kerry just shot the hell out of the 1st amendment didn't he? But then again he is one of the wealthy, about $250 million, elite. A 1%'er. Kerry is a sore loser just like obama. If you don’t agree with the dems, they want to suppress and control you. Remember that is what obama said during his 2008 campaign. Spoken like a true liberal democrat politician, representing "all" the people and in their best interest. Is this a great country or what, such loyal representation. I get a little misty.

Actually, I live in Florida, which is about 50/50 and vote Republican locally most of the time (look up my mayor, Teresa Jabobs (R)). But you go ahead and keep believing that everyone who disagree with you is a "Libby."
And I'm quite sure my federal tax liability was more than yours. I'm not posting it here, however.

I think there used to be a program which was supposed to help farmers by buying cheese and distributing it to the poor. I don't believe ( I could be wrong now) that it exist anymore.
I actually pay a higer rate of taxes then Romney does but I do not begrudge the elderly or handicapped poor the assistance they need. That said I realize there are abuses that need to be addressed.
Real life has never been as black and white as an old Ozzie and Harriet rerun.

Sites like politicsusa or WND want us to believe it is black and white. I suspect most of us see a lot of common ground and are fairly reasonable.

Well, I've said it before, and I'll say it again.
I'm not for bigger government, or smaller, I'm for properly regulated government of whatever size is necessary to do it's job.
I'm not for more regulations on business, or less, I'm for INTELLIGENT regulations.
I'm not for more taxes, or less, but taxes at the proper level to pay our bills as a nation.
I bet many other people are the same way.

I'd put CPAC in that list as well. The more extreme sources want us to stay firmly in a side. Are you Red or Blue. That's all I need to know to define all your views.

Ridiculous Government hand out freebies take many forms.
Whether cheese for (otherwise perfectly capable) poor people or Corporate Welfare, it all amounts to the same thing - an asinine expenditure at taxpayer expense.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

And yet comment on. ?
ChuppacabraFeb 12, 2012
I didn't see where I made any comment on the article.
I didn't even read the article so how in the world could I have commented on it?
I just made a factual statement that I autoburied it because of the source.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Your commented by citing the source and saying autoburied, why bother? Thanks for the reply though, it is your right to bury anything you wish and I would never argue against that.

I would take this article about "anti-Muslim" charges and "minds clouded by religious zealotry" and "hatred" much more seriously if politicusUSA did not spread such anti-Christian hatred on their site. They much favor Paganism than any other religious element and show spread much anti-Christian hatred.
They are the wrong site to be fighting against hatred since on one hand they denounce hatred while promoting hatred on the other.
ChuppacabraFeb 13, 2012
I appreciate that.
