tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com — Six major “super PACs” backing former and current Republican presidential candidates were almost entirely funded by massive contributions from individuals and corporations of at least $100,000, according to a TPM analysis of campaign finance data.

This is why we rage.
mbraynardFeb 3, 2012
It's also why you're impotent. Too stupid to see the big picture, throwing a tantrum like a child over things you don't understand.
usarugulaFeb 3, 2012
Thank you for your thoughtful contribution to the discussion.

It was the very best he is able to contribute.

The 'Super PAC is being demonized, while the regular PACs are making just as much money for their Democrat counterparts. It is just a name, but when compared to regular PACs they are nothing out of the ordinary.

Click on "non-party-cmtes" and then click on "total receipts". This will compare PACs to Super PACs.

A very strong case for changing the tax laws but also prima facie evidence of why it will never get done. In Watergate follow the money was a phrase on looking where the money came from. While this is still a problem Citizens United or Corporations Unlimited has magnified the problem so that the words of Lincoln in the Gettysburg Address of a Government of the people, by the people and for the people is coming to look be defined as people being only the rich 1% or people as defined by Mitt Romney as including corporations. I'm still waiting for Mitt to tell us whether he baptized any corporations, be they alive or dead after being picked dry by Bain and similar vulture capitalists.
u2canfailFeb 3, 2012
I have been waiting on that proclamation myself. Mittens here ya go.
ALL CORPORATIONS ARE NOW MORMON, we baptized them last night. And you are correct, as in the case of his father in law, alive or dead, it doesn't matter at all.
u2canfailFeb 3, 2012
Colbert is doing a great job of making fun of this! Supreme Court, you are dogs. Smelly ones too.

The entire concept of using money to influence decisions will be looked back upon in our future as a crime against humanity.

Must have been an oversight for TPM to only look at Republicans while disregarding the untold tens of millions of dollars going to Democrats.

Except there is no rage against Obama for his super PAC's and bundlers, especially so the ones on Wall Street.
bille3Feb 2, 2012
Just how do you think Obama has amassed over a trillion dollars in his campaign fund? There are not enough Americans to donate less than $100 to come up with that money. He has more elite wealthy contributors than all of the GOP candidates combined.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Obama contributions are mostly small. Opps?

crunchdiggFeb 3, 2012
bah, facts.
u2canfailFeb 3, 2012
Facts are a real problem, aren't they!
crunchdiggFeb 4, 2012
indeed. sometimes they don't show what you want!
miklkitFeb 3, 2012
According to the DNCC his average donation per person is $54. That is a lot of little people. In fact about 48% of Obama's money comes from the little people.
mbraynardFeb 3, 2012
You mean dwarfs?
Only a liberal elitist would ever refer to any American citizenry as 'little people.'
craig1958Feb 3, 2012
I believe the correct term is "unwashed masses."
usarugulaFeb 3, 2012
Have you nothing but name calling to offer?
mistermysterFeb 3, 2012
It's all he knows.
u2canfailFeb 3, 2012
Only if these are all dwarfs;
