That's tragic, but honestly what were these people thinking surrendering to the Taliban? You can fight and maybe live or you can surrender and place yourself at the complete mercy of monsters.
peinetJan 22, 2012
see the pakistan's government should stop supporting these assh**es and start killing them.
Graf_OrlockJan 22, 2012
Actually it's their military supporting the Taliban. The government's not leading the military, which is part of the problem.
Mightee1122Jan 23, 2012
They yelled "God is the greatest" before they blew their heads off.
Typical religious people.
RavenshoodieJan 23, 2012
It's not ever going to end. No matter how many we kill, more will just sprout up in their place. Wonder what, if anything, this will mean for the upcoming US-Taliban negotiations?
cantstopwontstopJan 23, 2012
It can end, it's just the US government isn't as unrestrained as people might think. Of course, you hear about all the bad stuff like a few civilian casualties here and there (which are lower right now than any war in history), but wiping these people out would require a complete disregard for civilians. These people hide behind women and children. We don't bomb their encampments or homes because there are women and children amongst them.

Only solution is to NUKE THE WHOLE REGION to get rid of those bastards

So the Pakistani army has soldiers assassinated by the very dirtbags they support. What a clusterf**k that hellhole is.
wargalaJan 22, 2012
And yet, when our boys pee on dead ones, the media JUMPS all over it, but this barely gets a whisper.
They act like victims, but then do s**t like this.

Notice how the punishment for rape isnt RAPE in the US? We have a civilization that is based on a set of rules and standards. "Cruel and Unusual Punishment" is an old argument that you have the ability to read about on your internet-machine of choice. If you are a Christian (and you certainly sound like one) you may remember that "Eye for an Eye" thing. It isnt a justification of revenge, it is a plea for fairness (and against retaliation/cruel and unusual punishment).
If the laws of the country cant sway you...and the Christian GOD cant sway you, may I suggest moving to a place where your views are more suited? Afghanistan sounds about right. Sounds like you could justify suicide bombings and beheadings as long as it was being done by "your side"....The USA doesnt (well...shouldnt) sink to your level.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Nothing about wargala's comment implied being Christian. Stop being a douche, douche.

I thought all convicts got raped in prison?

They may but that is not the punishment handed out by the Court. "Prison Justice" is a lot like "Taliban Justice"

Revenge. And fear.
BluntzworthJan 23, 2012
I am not standing up for the Taliban but our boys, especially Marines, aren't supposed to be pissing on defeated enemies.
kasha34Jan 24, 2012
Too bad. It's good PR.
Shows them that the imam that tells them Allah is on their side is lying.
Shows them the imam that tells them that Allah will protect them is lying.
Shows them that the imam that tells them that it's inevitable that they win....is lying.
BluntzworthJan 24, 2012
No it is terrible PR for the Marines and the US in general.
It shows that the US doesn't care about the people and that they will piss on their dead bodies for no reason.
It is wrong on so many levels.
kasha34Jan 24, 2012
Piss on their bodies for "no reason?"
There's plenty of reason.
The Talibs kill Afghans every month.
Jan 19. Kandahar. Two children are among seven civilians blown to bits by a suicide bomber.
Jan 18 Kajaki. A dozen innocents are torn to pieces by a Fedayeen suicide bomber.
Jan 17 Nangahar A Shahid suicide bomber takes out a guard at a government facility.
Ask them if these animals deserve to be pissed on.
BluntzworthJan 24, 2012
No there is no reason to piss on anybody's corpse. None. There are defeated enemies and defeated enemies are to be shown respect (no matter how evil they were in life).
It matters not what the Taliban does to civilians, once they are defeated, killed in this instance, it is over, no need to rub salt in the wounds by pissing on them.
Also, US Marines are supposed to lead by example. Pissing on defeated enemies is a bad example to set for the Nation let alone the World.
I am not trying to defend the Taliban. I am defending justice and honor and I realize that the Taliban is not justified nor honorable, but just because they aren't, doesn't mean that we shouldn't be.
Get it?
kasha34Jan 24, 2012
I appreciate your position. And
here's another position:
Everything the Taliban does is a war crime. No uniforms. Won't carry weapons openly. Targets civilians. They desecrate enemy dead. Hides among civilians.
They are NOT deserving of respect. There's nothing wrong with pissing on the bodies of rabid dogs. And that is what they are.
I "get it." I don't agree.
lexxvsJan 23, 2012
The problem with the Taliban is conceptual. Generally speaking, most of the people think that they are an incidental group in pursue of a certain objective. They are not, they are “a way of life”, there will always be a “reason” to live in combat because in the end they are just criminals disguised as a fanatic religious guerrilla. You don’t negotiate with criminals because criminality is their only job and the only way they know how to get what they want at the point of a gun. They can “simulate” to agree into something but they will erase their given words faster than light, citing whatever. But (and this is and important “but”) is the disastrous poverty of the country what feeds their guerrilla troops. Obviously interlaced with their brutal customs and utter ignorance. In the other hand the country is corrupt as hell and a cultural trait, so there is no way any external help can be channeled into development, so the cycle stays perpetually alive. For a country like that, where everyone can be an enemy “just because”, foreigners are a blessing because ethnocentrism strengthen the ideological call to join those thugs.
starmanjonesJan 23, 2012
well. the good thing is that they didn't piss on'em..
kasha34Jan 24, 2012
For those that say we can't ever win...
The USA fought stinking jihadis in the late 1700s. They were just like this -- fighting for Allah, they said.
It took 15 years or so, but we finally won.
And not by "winning hearts and minds." By convincing them that they were dying in vain. Stinks, but that's the way it is.

This video looks bad but it is nothing compared to some that I have seen.

The Pakis killed some of their (Talib), apparently. It is revenge. Now the Pakis will take revenge on the Talib and the hate cycle is fueled again. It will only stop when one side prevails. It's sad it happens.
