I think Colbert's superPAC will go down in history as a brilliant work of satire, performance art and political protest all rapped up into one. The fact that he can bring me to tears laughing about something that should bring me to tears out of shame for our political system is amazing.
I wish he had run also but out of character. He makes great points left an right appealing to people all over America. My personnal fav was when he read rap lyrics with a former Beastie Boy as if it were written by Shakepeare. That's the kind of person I want representing ME. Someone who looks at Eazy-E as a poet instead of a gangbanger. Someone who see the insanely obvious flaws of our government and our country like most of us see it. He is a conservative and a catholic who knows how to RESPECT other religions while staying true.
I would be proud to call him President of the United States
That isn't very much, I thought maybe tens of millions, kinda sad really....
I think I heard that Stewart is making $15M a year now, and I'm sure Colbert in the millions.... both of these guys probably have more in the bank.
Bothers me hulu labels the daily show as "fake news" though, since most of what is on it is *real*, but with a comedy spin (kind of like sugar helping medicine go down).
I wish Stewart would run for president though, not so much Colbert, maybe Stewart/Ron Paul or something, surely he'd get at least 30% of the votes.

It really is sad when the most informative and trustworthy voices in American news media are Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.

Agreed. It is a shame that Stewart and Colbert provide more accurate reporting through comedy and satire than some of the other "news" programs.
And do we even need to mention Faux News? Now they ARE a joke. A sad joke.
