abcnews.go.com — ABC Coming off of a back-of-the-pack finish in the Nevada caucus Saturday night, Ron Paul said Sunday morning that it is “hard to say exactly when” he expects to score a victory in an upcoming caucus or primary. “Of course you set [your target] for victory, but you have to live within the real world,” Paul told me on “This Week”. “But we have three or four caucus states that we believe our numbers are doing pretty good and we have to wait and see and keep doing exactly what we’re doing.” Paul, who is the only 2012 GOP presidential…

Hard to say what the outcome will be as Ron is faced with another pack of lame Republican presidential wannabes. It's little wonder people in the country don't follow up on politics as it should be. It's hard to say if anything ever will come of good in government.
ageofmasteryFeb 5, 2012
The fact he can't even beat these clowns is proof of how little regard Americans have for his crackpot ideas.
sarahsheaFeb 5, 2012
I'm not sure of what ideas your talking about but the Fed should go down, and I don't think it's a good idea to spread ourselves all over the world with bases like the one in Japan without any plans to remove them.
jownoixoFeb 6, 2012
He has good ideas. You're suggesting that every American votes by logically analyzing each candidates ideas with no bias? You, sir, are the one with the crackpot ideas.
dsmxFeb 6, 2012
he can't win because most people are to stupid to understand what he says or believes
chadpyleFeb 6, 2012
RP takes every opportunity to educate his audience but, his is largely an intellectual movement.
sarahsheaFeb 7, 2012
Then it seems we are all doomed, unless the improbable happens
chadpyleFeb 6, 2012
I think your witnessing an alarming trend among the constituency, not a deficiency in Ron Paul's message. We are largely products of a public school system that has created a passive, complacent populace and undermines critical thinking skills. Furthermore, we have a two-party system that is primarily used to keep Americans busy quibbling over false arguments, while our "representatives" line their pockets and make deals for job security/promotion.
barackalypseFeb 6, 2012
Sorry Ron, there are too many Mittwits in the GOP that refuse to buy in to your principales. They only want limited Government when it benefits them.
spazattack5000Feb 6, 2012
I think both sides will agree with you on that. Most people here know that a bloated military and prison system = big government. Yet certain people out there want more soldiers and less public sector jobs.... Two sides of the same coin really.
barackalypseFeb 6, 2012
Exactly, they differ only in what part of the Government they like and both sides are happy to trample whatever rights and liberties get in the way of expanding the part of it they want expanded.
tyhoFeb 6, 2012
I will say I like Ron Paul. If he were the nominee I would vote for him in an instant.
I guess you would call me a mittwit though because I do believe in a general election, Mitt is the most likely to beat Obama. I will keep my eye on the prize, a republican in the white house, and try to elect more people like Ron Paul and Tea Party Republicans into office.
brucealmightyFeb 5, 2012
It might be "hard to say" for him but it's pretty obvious to everyone else on the planet.

How about never?

Looks like this may be the last go-around for Ron. Pity, he had some great ideas and was a good libertarian. I hope he chooses to run as an independent. I don't think registered republicans know how good he is.
FPSmotoFeb 6, 2012
Last go around? He's going to stay until the Republican National Convention. He's going to have a s**t load of delegates and will likely be the only candidate who could beat Obama. Mitt, Rick and Newt are all scum.
h8f8kesFeb 6, 2012
With all the potential fraud in the system is is a sure thing Romney will be our first Mormon President and Bush's fourht term.
rebulatorFeb 6, 2012
I don't think Romney will beat Obama. I know Gingrich won't beat Obama. I doubt Ron Paul will get a chance against Obama. And Obama would just be Bush's fourth term anyway.
stang966Feb 6, 2012
Couldn't have said it better. I referred to Obama as Bush Jr. Jr. during the last election, but in a lot of ways he's actually as bad or worse than Junior (this is hard for me to write, because I didn't think anyone could be anywhere near as bad as Bush Jr).
h8f8kesFeb 6, 2012
Romney is being bankrolled by the same folks that Obama was, and in the end they may be considering the illusion of choice here. Besides, Romney is more a tradtional democrat than Obama ever was.
The occupy meme they were hoping for is not paying the dividends they expected, so Romney has a good shot once they rig the nomination.
The Grinch has no chance whatsoever in getting the nomination or even votes from the public - dumb as we are.
Ron Paul presents a huge problem for the mob bosses. He won in Clark County, basically taking Nevada and represents the growing mainstream opinions (except for a few whacky ideas about abortion, evolution). While they will not allow him the nimination, with a little luck Ron Paul will move the party back to a platform of indvidual rights. We need at least one party trying to protect us from government over reach and if the repubs don't change, I can see a third party replacing it.
akronFeb 6, 2012
He had my vote until he opened his mouth, and said he didn't believe in evolution. After that I felt all hope was gone, and I still feel that way today.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Basically says he doesn't know and doesn't care since it affects nothing in our lives.
Theories are unproven. They aren't to be believed, they're to be proven. It's funny when atheist's say they believe (put blind faith) in evolution.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
spazattack5000Feb 6, 2012
We have something called evidence. It's really only called a theory because the science is incomplete, a work-in-progress if you will. I for one view it as an indisputable fact even though we don't know everything.
kaegroFeb 6, 2012
I completely agree but I was throwing the creationists a velociraptor bone.
kingnovaFeb 6, 2012
gravity is just a theory. You better hold on!
/and also read up on scientific theory
jownoixoFeb 6, 2012
Gravity is a phenomenon, that is explained through theory.
ostracizeFeb 6, 2012
Great. Find a presidential candidate who does.
drwordsmithFeb 6, 2012
Just imagine if Ron Paul had Romney's past record of flip flopping or Gingrich's hypocrisy of condemning Clinton while cheating on his dying wife. He would probably be leading in the polls right now.
u2canfailFeb 6, 2012
I would feel sorry for PAUL, but I find him CRAZY, so an institution is his only hope.
grannysrightFeb 6, 2012
Ron Paul has some really good ideas, however, his foreign policy would be the death of us and quite frankly I think he's in the beginnings of dementia. He will never make it to the White House unless he's invited for dinner.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
