Trump got Focked!
adriannyuApr 24, 2011
Wow. That's a serious smack down. Everyone knows Trump is a fraud, except for the moronic Republicans who think this guy is politically viable. Not! He just wants attention and money...kind of like Palin!
goweigusApr 24, 2011
I think she wants the attention the most and he wants the money
adriannyuApr 25, 2011
good point.
gegan249Apr 24, 2011
In a way I hope he does run. It'll be an Obama landslide. OBAMA 2012.
2012ronpaulApr 25, 2011
That would be great to have Obama for another 4 years!!
publikjohn9Apr 25, 2011
Sarcasm?
adriannyuApr 25, 2011
Yes it would!
vroomeryApr 25, 2011
There's no way I'm voting for someone who claims to be fiscally conservative but has flirted with bankruptcy multiple times. Screw that.
publikjohn9Apr 25, 2011
I don't like Trump either. I don't think he is going to make a serious attempt at running for president. As far as the bankruptcy thing goes, well we live in a country that is flirting with bankruptcy. See you in the breadline comrade.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
spycatcherApr 25, 2011
Trump is a Fraud and you know this how?
Abe Lincoln filed Bankruptcy 4 times before he becameme the best US President ever!
antiproApr 25, 2011
not a Trump fan personally (something about the way he talks bothers me) but you make a good point with Lincoln so +1 digg from.
however, I will say that Trump had a lot more starting capital going into his failed business ventures than Lincoln did.
karmashockApr 25, 2011
most republicans don't take him seriously. Of the ones that do, I think they're mostly so tired of politicians that they're willing to go with ANYONE that isn't a politician.
Say what you will of the man... he isn't a politician. Of course he has no chance of getting elected and I think he would be a horrible president if he did. But it's good to keep realistic impressions of all factions rather then ascribe illusionary perspectives upon them.
Even if you want nothing but for them to fail you'll be unable to predict them if you don't know what makes them tick.
As to De Niro... I have to agree with the man. Trump is a smarmy used car sale man. Always has been... we never thought of him as political before. In fact, because he comes from new york, I think most of us assumed he was a democrat before this...Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
wipisApr 25, 2011
Actually this sort of thing doesn't make him much money. Running for president is expensive and the job doesn't really pay that well. HOWEVER he does have one of the largest ego's in the world so I'm sure he's happy to have the attention. To be fair he would probably make a better president then Palin. I would hate every moment of it but at least Trump is good with money (although he has been bankrupt several times).
karmashockApr 25, 2011
He'd be a terrible president... but he's good television.
webjosephApr 24, 2011
Robert De Niro is a boss.
toxicshokApr 24, 2011
He then added "you talkin' to me?"
antiproApr 25, 2011
and then started asking Trump "did you f**k my wife?" before gaining 40 Lbs and opening up a night club.
or something...
raiderduckApr 24, 2011
If Trump follows his recent Bill Cosby/Jerry Seinfeld pattern, he'll probably issue a press release totally ripping on DeNiro. When did Trump get so thin-skinned?
JustinKlemApr 24, 2011
They need to have Trump on the Joe Pesci Show.
Joe Pesci: Did I hear what I think I just heard?
Robert: I heard things. I heard things.
Donald: Am I outta line here by running for president?
Robert: You're outta line a little bit, a little bit.
babywookieApr 24, 2011
You left out the part where they beat him with baseball bats for half an hour or so.
trafficbeastsApr 24, 2011
Trump got Trumped.

I'm totally reading this in De Niro New Yowk dialect.

I did too. I couldn't stop myself.
nairebisApr 24, 2011
Can we stop caring what Hollywood actors think about politics? And I'm speaking of anyone speaking of any party. Their opinion is no better informed than any fool off the street, and probably less so, since being an actor is not a particularly intellectual pursuit.
And yes, of course they have a right to their opinion, just like anyone else. The problem is that their opinion is given greater weight for no legitimate reason.
ibdilbertApr 24, 2011
A thumbs up for a very good point!
publiclurkerApr 24, 2011
True, but Hollywood actors have th3e ability to get in front of a camera and tell everyone that the emperor has no clothes. If any of us were to try that we wouldn't be able to get a mention on page 3 of the local farm report.
nairebisApr 24, 2011
That's fine, except that many of them starting shouting about emperors that are perfectly fine, and do a great deal of damage. For example, see the moron Jenny McCarthy who was given a lot of attention for her anti-Vaccine irrational idiocy. We'll never know how many children she is directly responsible for killing and/or causing to have various diseases. But it's certainly more than zero.
duchampfitzApr 24, 2011
Donald Trump and Sarah Palin are little more than reality tv celebrities. So what makes THEM legitimate?
nairebisApr 24, 2011
Sorry, but that's just stupid. Say what you want about Trump, but he has made a huge amount of money, whatever that amount of money is.
And say what you want about Sarah Palin, but she went from a lower-middle-class background and became governor of Alaska.
They've already accomplished far more before they ever became name celebrities than you will most likely accomplish in your entire life.
Just for the record, I hate Sarah Palin and I think Trump would probably make a poor politician (businesspeople are used to top-down power, and not to a balance of power as we have in Congress). But to say they're just "reality TV celebrities" is just stupid. Say the Kardashians are just attractive idiots, and I'm with you.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
duchampfitzApr 24, 2011
Robert DeNiro has made a lot of money, came from a lower middle class background, AND has more talent and brains than either of them. So what's your point?
nairebisApr 24, 2011
It takes talent to be good actor, but does not take brains. Would you trust a wealthy model who just has to look good in front of a camera? How about a wealthy athlete? Are they qualified just by the nature of having money? Actors are just people in front of a camera.
Of course, there might be actors, models or athletes are are also qualified to do other things, but the point is that their success in their particular area does not give any more qualification than the garbage man.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
duchampfitzApr 25, 2011
Trump managed to bankrupt a casino. How's that for intellect?
jjheathApr 24, 2011
also, 99% sure DeNiro hasn't filed for bankruptcy twice...
jjheathApr 25, 2011
oop, three times. my bad. bury away. that's what i get for not fact checking.
juliochavezApr 25, 2011
For Robert DeNiro, acting is a particularly intellectual pursuit.
( Well, maybe not Meet the Fockers )
any1particularApr 24, 2011
Here's to hoping Trump & Palin are on the GOP ticket this 2012!!!!! Obama will smash those two jokers! Hehehehe
sophieabcApr 24, 2011
Trump had nothing to lose. He is bankrupt.
nuk221Apr 25, 2011

That's what happens when you piss off Vito Corleone.
weebitApr 24, 2011
darn it I thought De Niro gave Trump a knuckle sandwich. Oh well, still not too bad though.
LI0N90Apr 24, 2011

antiproApr 25, 2011
fact or fiction, it's just not a relevant comment. or relevant enough.
it's cool to have an opinion and attempt to spark thoughtful dialogue between people but in this instance he should have at least tried to incorporate either Robert De Niro or Donald Trump.
ibdilbertApr 25, 2011
Yeah, and we all know digg is about "thoughtful dialogue".
makaroffApr 25, 2011
What you do not like Trump?
stusghostApr 25, 2011
I think it's pretty amazing that a man so well versed to understanding the human condition within us all, would simply label another human being as crazy. Trump must really be focking nutz!
onthetrailApr 25, 2011
I think the people in Hollywood need to keep their issues to something besides politics..With many not wanting to be running for President give the guy a chance!
lnussrallahApr 25, 2011
Robert DeNiro is my new hero!
kasha34Apr 24, 2011

Way to go Robert De Niro. Donald Trump's simply looking for a way to attract attention. This is just a sign to show that there's nothing solid behind the man and his aspirations to be president of our nation. http://www.wadehilton.surfmoney.com/ http://www.wadehilton.com.mx/home.htmlComment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Yeah, everyone knows Trump is being idiotic....except for the studio audience at The View, which burst into spontaneous applause when Trump demanded the birth certificate. And except for the 6 out of 10 Americans who doubt Obama's word on where he was born.
Go figure.
