I seem to notice a lot of this lately. I commented on one of betts submissions yesterday, which recieved a lot of upvotes, and it the story somehow magically disappeared. I warned them that heat was getting turned up. I guess they can't handle being in the kitchen. What I want to know is when we can get the moderators to start banning these people.

I won't absolve her for her drug use as it led to her death...but her career & life nosedived after "The Preechers Wife" ; She was a tortured soul and the reason her life spiraled out of control was Bobby Brown...he got her addicted to drugs and booze. Whitney was addicted and in a relationship with an addict that kept her addicted. It must have been difficult, as she was trying to raise the child she had with him and probably trying to keep her daughter from being a 'child of divorce' in this 'modern' day and age...but in this one case, she needed to leave (and she did, in 2007, but by then the damage was done)
Her death is tragic but the destruction she suffered as Bobby Brown threw drugs and punches at her, is even more so.

If you were lucky enough to get every remaining coherent family member in one location for a sad trailer family reunion, you could take their collective income and accomplishments in life and it wouldn't come close to the success she's had in her short life. They can't stand thinking about someone they feel is beneath them accomplishing more in the very short life they pity than their entire family and everyone they've every know combined. Of course we don't know the cause of Whitney's death yet, but even if drugs weren't involved I really hope this gives everyone pause. It has to stop being acceptable in our society for celebrities (or anyone else) to be abusing drugs until they're dead. Drug abusers who are entertainers need to be shunned by consumers, not enabled by consumers putting money in their pockets. And I don't want to speak ill of the dead but it would be nice if instead of putting so much effort into retrospectives of their entertainment careers and tributes and reminiscing about what tremendous talents they were, we mix in a cold, sober hit-you-in-the-face message that this person died of drugs, that that is not acceptable and that this fact and learning from this fact is more important than their entertainment career or whatever talent they may have had.
