Trump just had his political balls cut off and the birthers are doing what they do best, guzzling more koolaid. Lol. Deluded twits.
Unregistered_CowardApr 29, 2011
"Even on the issue of his own birth certificate, Obama was once again “leading from the rear.”"
How exactly does it feel to be throwing your support behind such an inept administration? The continual apologizing and construction of defenses must become frustrating after a time. Even the "but Bush" tactic is becoming less effective.
Obama could have struck a singular blow to knock this issue off the table, he could have simply produced the document when it first became an issue. He would have cut the Birther clowns off at the knees, the general populace wouldn't be wondering "why not" and the whole thing would be a non-issue.
Instead we got a president whose been out-foxed by Donald Trump.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

It feels f**king great. Great seeing a bunch of tools handed their ass in such an elegant way. Thanks for asking!
How does it feel operating from an alternate manufactured reality? One where the bigoted birther idiots, too immature and insecure to admit they were wrong, now with quivering high-pitched voices try to spin this into some sort of 'victory' while the planet laughs at them. Textbook mass-hysteria and delusion.
Please continue to have such marvellous 'victories'. They nourish and amuse us.
theonewhoknowsApr 29, 2011
Some chant, "Obama is a fraud unless he turns over his birth certificate."
Obama ignores them.
Then many chant it.
Obama turns it over to shut them up.
Now they chant, "Ha, ha, we made you turn over your birth certificate."
Unregistered_CowardApr 29, 2011
What alternative reality? I was never under the illusion that Obama wasn't a legitimately elected president.
Your response is the typical reactionary one, the first line of defense being to declare the opposing a birther, a neo-con, a bigot.
How am I any one of these?
Maybe your satisfied with Obama's leadership. I certainly am not.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Excellent reply Unregistered! And that is how it goes, you don't agree and you are a racist. Exhausting, isn't it?
ikorkyiApr 29, 2011
This isn't going to stop the birthers. Obama did what he should have - ignore the troll. For example, Trump now has moved on to wanting his schooling records. I don't think Obama should have released it at all - it violates the cardinal rule.
DON'T FEED THE TROLLS
fxspec06Apr 29, 2011
Only problem with that is come election the birthers would still be screaming about it.. Obama has everything at stake, and Trump has nothing at stake.. it's better for Obama to just produce it now and get it all over with.
Trump is the one who got "pwned" here.
Obama, presenting his birth certificate LIKE A BOSS
amaoicanApr 29, 2011
"get it all over with."
But as ikorkyi said, it's not over. Now trump wants his school records. Next he'll want Obama's blockbuster records, saying he has a history of not bringing back tapes.
Unregistered_CowardApr 29, 2011
And it will be an issue because Obama allowed this one to be.
sabz5150Apr 29, 2011
"Maybe I'm going to do the tax returns when Obama does his birth certificate ... I'd love to give my tax returns. I may tie my tax returns into Obama's birth certificate,"

Gotta love those "maybe"s and "may"s.
C'mon Trump, let's see you put your balls on the table.
Hj1Apr 29, 2011
Unregistered nails it again! And Hillary led the "birther" movement.
rgb86Apr 29, 2011
So, Hj1, I know it's completely pointless to even ask this, but are you the same person as Unregistered_Coward? Not that I'd expect you to admit it if you were, but in this thread you seem to be doing nothing but praising Coward, and it comes off as nothing more than a person stroking his own ego with a fake second account.
Of course, there's distinct possibility that you are a unique individual and you're just that pathetic with absolutely nothing to contribute to the conversation.
tryanglesApr 29, 2011
One thing I love about the 'birthers' and 'cons' is how they get each other all riled up. All you need is an incoherent one liner that sounds cool in order to get these guys to start patting each other on the back and proclaim how 'right' they are.
Unregistered_CowardApr 29, 2011
You know what's really comical about the whole Birther Pwning?
The issue began generating traction during the primaries when the various Democratic factions were attacking each other.

This whole thing made the president look like an ass. He sat on this thing for two f**king years when he could have put this s**t to bed before it started. Trump is a moron, but Obama is right behind him. I especially like how he said in his press conference, "We don't have time for this 'silliness'," yet, immediately after that, he had time to hop a jet to the set of Oprah.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Will you demand Trump's certificate? He IS a presidential contender, so he MUST be a US citizen.
We'll be waiting right here...
Unregistered_CowardApr 29, 2011
I didn't demand Obama's birth certificate. I had no reason to suspect he wasn't a legitimately elected president.
Hj1Apr 29, 2011
As Unregistered has pointed out, OBAMA made the conspiracy grow in all his "transpareny".....
LMAO!
sabz5150Apr 29, 2011
Sorry, the conspiracy was yours.
He was under no legal obligation to release his "long form". There was nothing being "hidden". He did nothing wrong, nothing any other president has not done.
I mean, where's W's long form? Clinton's? HW's? Reagan's?
Why this one president? What makes this one different?
Unregistered_CowardApr 29, 2011
I'll type real slow so maybe you'll understand better Sabz
1 - What conspiracy? I didn't think he was anything but a citizen of the United States. What damning information might that birth certificate reveal, it's a piece of paper that states the particulars of his birth. Assuming he didn't have a secret twin or something nothing nefarious to be gained.
2 - My displeasure with Obama is that he failed to act in a timely manner on the issue. A couple minutes on the phone, issue put to rest. This is an issue that had dogged him since his political days in Illinois and something his Democratic opponents made an issue of during the primaries. He let it fester to the point of having an actual press conference.
3 - Did anybody ask those other presidential candidates for their birth certificates....that's quite an expansion of the "but Bush" excuse by the way. Didn't we make a big stink about access to John McCain's medical records, something a lot more private and personal than a birth certificate. Why couldn't we just accept that doctors opinion?
sabz5150Apr 29, 2011
1. I dunno...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orly_Taitz
That one?
2. What issue? I thought you said there was no conspiracy, that you never doubted his citizenship. If there was no issue, why are you so upset that he didn't "address" it sooner?
3. No. Why not? Your birth certificate is just as private as your medical records. Did you not notice that he had to authorize its release? This means you can't just go up there and get a copy for whatever reason. Its private.
Why couldn't we accept the opinion of the Governor of Hawaii who said his certificate was on file and legitimate. THAT addressed the issue you complained took so much time... TWO YEARS AGO. How is two years ago "slow"?
anomaly100Apr 29, 2011
@Unregistered:
You object to Obama not acting in a more timely manner on this wild conspiracy, however, he did. His citizenship was a fact, so now should he also appease other insane conspiracy theory fanatics in a 'timely' manner? I thought he did a great job concentrating on being the President instead of appeasing the fringe element, but then the right wing became more extreme and bought into the insanity, so when he gave them the proof so we could move on, he's denounced by it not being 'timely' enough, when he's already passed the test of being an American.
Unregistered_CowardApr 30, 2011
There's a difference between fringe element and when Gallup / USA Today poll shows that almost half the nation is concerned about the issue.
When your electorate has concerns about an issue your suppose to address it, and not between fundraising stops or bookings on Oprah.

When does it end? Obviously it hasn't when you look at the front page of drudge and see comments like, 'now on to his college records'.
sabz5150Apr 29, 2011
That's right, blame the president for the nutcases in your crowd.
skews13Apr 29, 2011
He didn't sit on anything. The righties are just pissed because he doesn't react everytime they say or do something stupid. They better get used to it. They are the ones being put on the defensive, and being made to react to their own rhetoric now. Obama has been kicking conservative ass quite convincingly for the last two years. It explains the unhinged reactions from them on the daily news cycle. You nutjobs should be used to being on the defensive by now, and it looks like you will be on the defensive right through his second term. I mean jesus f**king christ, you won the midterm elections, and are still on the defensive. That's embarrassing, and impotent on a number of levels.

1.donald trump funds democratic candidates consistently each election cycle
2.donald trump is not making political moves that are legitimate to win office
3.donald trump appeals only to EXTREME radicals, not real conservatives like myself
4.I could care less about the birthing issue since its water under the bridge
5.Obama has for some reason decided to whip out his birth certificate
6.donald trump is claiming to be a hero for "making" obama show certificate
7.Obama showing certificate does not line up logically with his personality of being c**ky and a strong willed leader
8.Its a staged act to split the GOP party and win Obama 2012 presidency.
its pretty easy to see that Donald Trump also attacked the most valuable candidate of the GOP Ron Paul. Why would Trump even bother attacking a candidate like Ron Paul if Ron Paul isn't considered a viable winner. Well because the truth is that Ron Paul has the perfect contrast to take on Obama and school Obama in a debate.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Plus the phrase is "couldn't care less". If he could care less then he cares. On second thought maybe it was phrased correctly.

Well I for one do wonder about Trump in how he donated to the Clinton's, campaigned for Hillary and donated to the Rham Immanuel campaign in Illinois.
I think Trump is as much a republican that Arnold the governator was a republican.
If the RNC were to chose Trump it will be like running McCain again.
ikorkyiApr 29, 2011
lol...valuable...Ron Paul...haha. while in reality this would most likely be true, the average IQ is 100. That means that 50% of the people in this country have an IQ less than that - and that's pretty f**king stupid.
lets keep in mind that appealing to EXTREME radicals has gotten him to be the 2nd most popular GOP candidate.
MSaltmarshApr 29, 2011
This article = fail.
Obama grew tired of the media giving this non issue to much media attention so he released the long form.
Trump isn't a plant, he is out for himself. Surprise surprise when he doesn't actually run and just uses all this media attention to try to grab higher ratings for his failing television show.
The after-birthers are going to always want more because they are the true bigots.
I think there were a few conspiracy theory nuts and hell maybe a few average people in there that were just confused.
But now the nuts are gone along with the average people.
The only thing i think Obama did wrong, was release it now. I would have waited for a month before election time, then slam. Everyone who jumped on board that bandwagon looks like a moron.
johnnymangoApr 29, 2011
I don't understand what this whole argument about him waiting 3 years to release it is all about. He released the legal birth certificate issued by the State of Hawaii 3 years ago. It wasn't lost, or missing, or being covered up. As an American citizen, if I need to prove citizenship, the legal document provided by the state should be sufficient, no? The argument that this would not be enough is nonsensical unless you truly believe that has been 40 year conspiracy in the works.
johnnydiggmeApr 29, 2011
The article says 38% of polled Americans don't think he was born in the United States.
Most of those Americans probably don't know that Hawaii is part of the US. ;)

Quite frankly, with the imminent release of Jerome Corsi's "Where's the Birth Certificate," Obama just smacked Trump, Corsi, Joey Farah, and Orly Taitz in one broad shot. With all the money and time poured into Corsi's effort, and the book is about to leave the press, Obama kicks him to the curb.
Enjoy your book signing tour Jerome!
rgb86Apr 29, 2011
Eh.....he's going to make just as much money no matter what. The release of the long form has done absolutely nothing to abate the inane claims of the birthers, so you can bet they'll still eat that filth up.

Thin-skinned? All the unbelievable bulls**t he's had to put up with for the past few years, and he's never gotten emotional over it--always calm, collected, expressing at most disappointment in the people perpetuating such ridiculous claims. He's anything but thin-skinned.
gcbaroneApr 29, 2011
All of the smug negative commentators fail to address the single biggest point made in the article. Why didn't he just release it from the beginning? Only one reason I can think of. He was using it as a political trump card. I personally dont care much about the issue but I think it is really sad our political process is so saturated in deception. On both sides of the spectrum.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
dwtcApr 29, 2011
He did release it in the beginning, but the birthers everyone made a big deal about the "Long Form" birth certificate, or about how it was only a "Certificate of Live Birth", as if that wasn't a real birth certificate.
That is why he referred to all of this as "silliness". Because it's absolutely ridiculous. The day he released it I listened to a local conservative radio show, the caller was mad about how smug he was, and how putting a picture up on a website still doesn't prove anything, which is exactly why he didn't bother putting out the "Long Form" certificate sooner. People who didn't believe him before will just find a reason to like him even less now that he did show it. People who already believed him will continue to believe him.
Maybe there is a small subset of the birther group that was on the fence, who just don't have the energy to carry on complaining about him -- those are the only people that would have been swayed by the release of the birth certificate.
