newsjunkiepost.com — Through the revolving door from Goldman Sachs to the Democrat Party, an experienced campaigner has maneuvered themselves into a position of influence with the Occupation Movement in the nations capitol. Connections with MoveOn.org, and Van Jones’ Rebuild the Dream, seem to be only the tip of the iceberg. For a movement that considers itself not only non-partisan, but anti-partisan, and entirely anathema to the corporate owned political institutions that exist, this should come as a serious blow.

I think it's safe to assume all "popular" movements are infiltrated. It would make sense. Makes it easier to keep tabs on what's going on.

We're in total agreement here norman. There was a story on the Guardian last week about some "law enforcement" officer that infiltrated environmental groups in the 70s and 80s, and ended up getting a few of them preggers and having children in the process. As soon as the kids were born, he abandoned them.

Just because you've worked at Goldman Sachs that doesn't mean that you aren't a progressive — also not everyone working at Goldman Sachs is a financial trader, there are plenty of foot soldiers doing the grunt work of running a company (and most aren't making millions).
sheopleherderJan 23, 2012
They aren't financial traders maybe, but they are all financial traitors...
sheopleherderJan 23, 2012
Yeah I may not be the devil, I just work for him. lol

While possible, it's not probable given Goldman Sach's history.
Where there's smoke, there's fire.
Goldman Sachs alums have a long history of political involvement to promote the firm's financial interests, not the nation's. This cynicism aimed at the firm would not be so pervasive in our society if that history was any different.

Probably, and I bet the Koch brothers are bankrolling it! /s

And the plot thickens!

She was a programmer, hardly a high powered position in a company as big as Goldman's. The Democratic connection is as obvious in the moveon organization as the Republican connections in the tea party movement, no big news there either.
This "article" is about nothing. Buried.
sheopleherderJan 23, 2012
So an ex employee for Democratic Sponsors Goldman Sachs "infiltrates" the Occupy movement and is placed in a position of power? Slowly watch as the messages become more progressive and less angry at the banks... It looks like lobbying is a multi headed beast...
FrankLuskaJan 23, 2012
Did she Infiltrate Occupy, or asked to join, mighty big difference.
norman619Jan 23, 2012
Not really. I can ask to join for nefarious reasons which I keep to myself.
elimgarakJan 23, 2012
Can you even infiltrate such a group? Or can you just show up? I don't think showing up at a rally counts as "infiltration".

I remember back in the early 00's maybe 03'- or 04', I had created a webpage for a libertarian group to pull together on truth and deceit in our political system, it was under the initials L.B.S.M., the day after I created the website Bush jr. gave a speech on the TV using a lot of key moving factors that i had used on my website. That's when I began to figure that something was watching what was going on between the lines and trying to keep an upperhand on us so called civilians...I was under the name:Fixdcoma on DIGG at the time. Also a few months ago i had to point out to the people that one of your political debaters was not using their own views and stealing their viewpoints from those on the NET! Don't you see? I'm the one who's been playing you at your own game for playing me! You think god gave me these wonderful gifts of premonition, remote view to listen to your conversations about me from afar, everything gives a pattern and a vibration, can't the world tell when I'm pissed?!! Be careful who you try and f**k with, you might piss of someone you shouldn't!

That's an interesting story. Where can I go to find out more?

Another pundit missing the point of the entire movement. Occupy is bigger than any one person in it. Its bigger than any group of people and even bigger than the individual movements in separate cities. This article amounts to a weak attempt to marginalize protesters by attempting to associate them with a political party. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

"non-partisan", "anti-partisan" - all bulls**t terms to pretend you're "above it all". If you're in politics, and Occupy is nothing BUT politics, you're partisan. In her case, and in Occupy's case, partisan leftists, whether they call themselves Democrat, Green, or Socialist Worker.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

There are republicans and ex-tea partiers in Occupy as well. Just for your info...
