Here's the problem, while you denounce violence, your own General Assembly back in November refused to do so:

This proposal FAILED with a mere 112 yea's compared to 559 nay's, hell, even more people abstained from voting than supported this:
"Diversity of Tactics: This movement is composed of many individuals. Black Bloc tactics may be employed in different ways. We propose that we recognize that we are part of a global movement. We know that actions can strengthen or weaken our goals. We urge individuals employing Black Bloc tactics to use self-restraint and forethought. We urge Black Bloc members not to destroy local businesses. We encourage all individuals who are engaged in non-violence to continue to do so."
Even worse, the "Destructive Actions" proposal was withdrawn without a vote because they felt unity was more important than denouncing violence.

There is no need to distort the truth, the protester's own General Assembly votes show that, unlike the author of this article, the majority of the OWS participants present refused to adopt a proposal against violent tactics:

It's Oakland. They get violent whether their team wins or loses.
Maybe if the protesters took an active role in helping the police weed out the violent elements, there wouldn't be a problem. Instead, we get a long winded rant why it's not your responsibility to keep violence out of the group (not that it exists in the group anyway, wink wink) and also simultaneously bitch that you don't like how the police are handling it.
Class warfare refers to the attempts by politicians to divide people into groups in order to garner votes. kind of like how the occupy protesters want to divide the population into the 99% and the 1%.
