What's really sad is they are moving to Colorado and then passing the same legislation here that ruined California!
shenerdSep 6, 2011
I wouldn't start really worrying until Ahnold starts house hunting there. Then true Californication has commenced.

What do you expect, they are the ones that voted to approve the legislation in Kalifornia. Just because they moved does not mean they changed ideology.

Same in Portland OR and Austin TX.
If we do not learn from our mistakes we are doomed...

I have been trying to leave for the last year. but our house is under water and we can not afford to go. we are just slowly bleeding to death.

Its sad to see failure of this magnitude, but sometimes its necessary to learn an important lesson.

This article is sadly so true. Kalifornia is now a failed state and there is no current hope of saving it. In the 2010 elections, if I recall correctly, every single incumbent was re-elected (every moronic Democrat and sell-out Republican who have contributed to this state's downfall). If that doesn't speak volumes about the self-denial of the voters then nothing does. When Jerry Brown can be elected (again!) and morons like Maxine Waters can be returned to office time and after time, you know the state has no interest in changing course. In a few years I will gladly leave this state and say farewell to the hordes of illegals, socialists and union thugs who now run it.

Kalifornia has sent an elite team off to congress. Maxine Waters, Henry Waxman, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Doris Matsui. The most outspoken socialists in congress. No small wonder Kalifornia is in trouble.

Before reading the article, I thought California was crumbling into the ocean due to quakes or erosion. I see it is something else now.

fta: "Not surprisingly, the state (CA) has not gained middle-skilled jobs (those requiring two years of college or more) for a decade, while the nation boosted them by 5 percent and archrival Texas by a stunning 16 percent over the same time period."
*ehem
I'm just sayin.

I heard there is a saying that "As California goes, so goes America." With such a large percentage of the US population living there and its oversized influence on American culture, that made good sense to me at the time that I heard it. Now I hope to God that it is not true.

California is suffering from a strong case of unionitis, a disease that causes a slow painful death of starvation as the parasite sucks all of the energy out of the host. The only remedy for this devastating disease is a strong Demnema which purges the host of the danglers through which the unionitis parasites attach themselves to the host. Once the host has been purged and the Dems have been removed the parasites can no longer attach to the host and California will be cured.

"California is crumbling" because: too many idiot morons voted for idiot moron politicians. And who are these idiot morons? They are the uninformed, uneducated, greedy, and the lazy. And who are these uninformed, uneducated, greedy, and lazy people? The majority are the douche-bag Mexicans (because they are now the majority) who elected the douche-bag Mexican politicians who commit corruption in every aspect in the political arena. Let's take a look at their own country. It's so f**ken corrupted the drug lords running the show there.
I still cannot get over with the fact they passed laws for the illegals to be eligible for college grants. What part of the word "illegal" these politicians don't get? Will someone ask Jerry Brown this question?
