Did Rose Kennedy have a black dress?
Glenn Beck is making bank on paranoia and scare-tactics.
thisismywarSep 10, 2010
Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin are democrats at heart for without the democratic party they would be jobless especially Beck.
anbucfanSep 10, 2010
another story on palin and glenn beck being the devil? no wonder the Republicans are going to win big this year
delphium226Sep 10, 2010
Your statement indicates a lack of coherent thought. You must be high? Can we have some of that s**t?
zorbathonicSep 10, 2010
Low ticket price of 73 dollars. That'll keep the riff-raff away for sure.
rethreadSep 10, 2010
Gotta keep the low rent church crowd in attendance... Just sayin.
rethreadSep 10, 2010
New crowd can't see the /sarcasm tag yet.
Too little exposure. *sigh*
jhbarrSep 10, 2010
And they're the ones complaining about the economy. Imagine how much they'd charge if they thought the economy was fine. /s
m0og0oSep 10, 2010
Every time I go to CostCo I see a new Glenn Beck book. Anyone who couldn't see he's milking his followers for all they're worth is a fool.
hipmanSep 10, 2010
Who did you vote for, again?.
jdenzerSep 10, 2010
Are you implying that Pres. Obama is charging his supporters to pay to $225 for a "Meet and Greet"? Get a life.
dfarqSep 10, 2010
I wonder who ghost writes them all for him?
hipmanSep 10, 2010
is the atlanticwire useless spam?.
mhuntSep 10, 2010
But it's on the front page nearly every day now. It must be important!
jdenzerSep 10, 2010
So paying $225 to "Meet and Greet" Beck and Palin for a 9/11 event is not in poor taste? That is no way exploits the victims of 9/11? I know the truth hurts, but at least try to join the rest of us in the real world of common sense.
delphium226Sep 10, 2010
You're talking to people with less common sense than a dog with rabies. There's no reasoning with them.
pat25fireSep 10, 2010
Yes. f**k.
danielamorySep 10, 2010
Does the Pope s**t in the woods?
thisismywarSep 10, 2010
no one truly knows.
maxvetteSep 10, 2010
If the Pope s**ts in the woods and no one is there to see him do it, did it really happen?
pat564Sep 10, 2010

dfarqSep 10, 2010
The better question is what WON'T those two try to cash in on?
Closed AccountSep 10, 2010
Um...didn't profits for the Washington gathering go to the Wounded Warrior fund? It seems this story jumps the gun a little.
jdenzerSep 10, 2010
Umm . . . how much went to the Wounded Warrior fund? You would think that someone like Beck could afford to pay for the rally and 100% of the proceeds would go to the troop fund. Why does he have to take a cut. How is that patriot? When people do bake sales for charities, they don't take a 'cut' from the sale of the cakes they sell.

emo110Sep 10, 2010
Clinton getting paid for a speech does not even come close to this! Clinton is asked to speak and the people asking expect to pay for it; they pay whenever anyone speaks, that how it works. Hosting an "event" where the host speaks is totally different and is usually free, or the proceeds go to their campaign. Hosting a 9/11 event and keeping any of the money is shameful. They have not said where the money is going, but if this was for charity I'm positive they would have been boasting about it.
greenroom628Sep 10, 2010
um...duh. of course they are...their careers are based on reminding people that there's a big, bad, boogeyman out there just waiting to take everything away from you if you don't give them a lot of money.
then again...that same model's helped religion throughout history.
emo110Sep 10, 2010
Problem is, that "big, bad, boogeyman" is them! Which is why they have to keep distracting people with lies, otherwise they will find out... Shhhhhh....
rethreadSep 10, 2010
Are attention whores acting like attention whores? OMG! Will Glenn finally verify the details of the death of that unfortunate girl back in 1990? I could pay to hear all about it!
Closed AccountSep 10, 2010
Oh, I see Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck = instafrontpage.
Do the proceeds for this gathering go to charity? Is is going to be some gigantic gathering that gets a lot of money? It's in Alaska FFS.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

"A spokesperson for Beck says he will donate his fee from the event to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation."
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20015814-503544.html
Sorry to interrupt the hate....carry on....
hortnonSep 10, 2010
His speaking fee? Great! What about the rest of the ticket sales?
emo110Sep 10, 2010
Well that was an "update" to the article; apparently he heard us talking and decided to donate the money after-all... But still no word on what Palin will be doing with her money, or where the rest of the ticket proceeds will go!
So, because of this I have to digg you down... that and it's not about hatred of Beck/Palin, it's about their hatred of anything that doesn't fit their social and political agenda (i.e. America!)
publiclurkerSep 10, 2010
wonder if he's in charge of this so called group also. It would be just like Quirk to be whoring for him like that.
hortnonSep 10, 2010
Last I saw it held 5k people, and the Facebook page had people from all over the country pledging to fly out and see it.
volfie99Sep 10, 2010
Uhh...yeah? Please. It's what they do. Try losing the question mark and reposition the "are" to where it belongs: after the word "palin".Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
cyberdactylSep 10, 2010
One thing the new digg does well is reducing the fanatical left wing crazies from pounding the comment section to death.
vegetablelambSep 10, 2010
it seems to have filtered out a substantial number of tin-foil-hat rabid gibbering conservative hate mongers as well
delphium226Sep 10, 2010
@cyberdactyl
Thats because the majority of the users on this site are liberals. If that annoys you Digg Parrots then f**k off.
shingoexSep 10, 2010
more than likely, yes
shingoexSep 10, 2010
You know people get butthurt when they digg you down and have no actual counter-argument.
nolibrariansSep 10, 2010
Yes!
linuxpersonSep 20, 2010
And you supported Sarah Palin as VP when you voted for McCrazy.
dannydongSep 10, 2010

Buried as OK....this is lame....oh wait...DAMMIT!!!!!!
rantusSep 10, 2010
Milking their mindless supporters? Come on, really? I'm sure all those antique gold coins that they bought from Goldline will be worth TONS more after the economy crashes just like he predicts it will. I mean, who needs gold bullion that you can buy at market value when you can have overpriced gold coins?
Glenn and Sarah: A testament to how stupid Americans really are. To understand why people listen to these two idiots you have to understand that they're now rich idiots who did relatively nothing to get all that money except lie through their teeth, and that's every piece of American white trash's dream. They didn't earn degrees (That's why "Conservatives" don't like education), they didn't invent anything significant (which is hard without having an education, another reason why educated people are "Elitist"), and they sure as hell didn't create any real future for anybody (except themselves of course, which is what "conservative" ideology is all about now: all for me and none for you). But they're rich and famous and they tell people stupid s**t all day, most of it being lies.
They're a piece of white trash's wet dream, and they're lining up to hand over their money to them. Just like they do with phony preachers.
emo110Sep 10, 2010
FTA: Huffington Post contributor Bob Cesca on his blog: "These people ought to be ashamed of themselves. Unless the proceeds are going to the families of the victims (who Glenn Beck hates), I can't think of anything more gratuitous and shameless -- other than, perhaps, a 'genuine slivers of Ground Zero' mail order business."
Now that's about as straightforward as it gets! Too bad Rush cornered the market of "slivers of Ground Zero"... LOL!
u2canfailSep 10, 2010
DUH! Profiting from fear, profiting from anger, isn't that the theme of everything they ever say?
(You should be scared, I need money. GOP campaign slogan too.)
davidsunddsSep 11, 2010
Pretty sure they are. Once the midterm elections are over, the Republican party won't mention this ever again.
artemzSep 11, 2010
I never like Palin. I think she isn't sincere.
sexyteenagerSep 12, 2010
Yes.... yes they are...
