The government also conveniently doesn't talk about the fact that the State Department will have about 20,000 private contractors for security.

The CIA will be flying drones between five checkpoints across Iraq and private 'security' will be defending the corporate oil fields... the corporate takeover of Iraq is complete.

Too bad we have to pay so much for the oil. I thought we took it from them. Gas should only be 50 cents a gallon.

Ah, I bet all of you that voted for Obama thought stuff like this wasnt going to continue after Bush left. Ill tell you how to feel better. Rationalize! Tell yourself something that some how justifies it when Obama does it. It works like a charm everytime! And to PROVE to yourself that you are correct in your justification of Obama's continuation of the war, you should continue to support him and everything else he does AND you should vote for him in 2 years.

You're right! I should have voted for McCain/Palin and things would have been so much better.

Whitegripes,
I agree with your point here. It would have been no better, I suspect. That is the deep issue inside the US, isn't it? We play into the lie that the parties are really different. Deep down, they aren't so very different at all.

Sorry, it would be nice if Bush's messes could be quickly erased, but he passed off some real doozies to deal with when he left office so it's going to take a while to clean them up. I'm not worried. See ya in 2012!

I agree that Bush was a disaster. Its just too bad that Obama is not capable enough to fill the office he ran for. Its just too bad Obama is in over his head and not capable of solving problems.

I would not want to be a soldier or contractor there. Now that the combat brigades are gone it is going to be easy pickings for Al Qeda. Iran could not win a combat war with Iraq, but they sure can overtake Iraq with terrorism and it will not take long. The government and police/military are weak, ineffective and infiltrated with terrorists.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
