It was really interesting.

At what point do we get tired of:
- turning the other cheek
- being tolerant of those that hate us
- not sinking to their level
- following the rules of engagement

I'm just thinking that since our enemies know that we will always try to do those things, it becomes our weakness rather than our strength.

The writer appears to be reluctantly dragging himself towards reason. When the stated premise for constructing a center which was obviously going to cause division is "bridge building," then it's fair to speculate about what the real premise is.
