One time at a public pool at my old apartment complex this little kid pooped in it and people were standing around betting on which log would get to the other side first

Relax!! We have shared swimming holes with strangers before we started walking upright. Unless your immu8ne system is compromised you are resistant to the bacteria that survives. Much cleaner than swimming in a lake.
