We shouldn't always assume ignorant/stupid/unintelligent people are the only ones susceptible to racism. People like to think racist are incompetent... but that mostly stems from the fact that people don't like focusing attention on real threats in which they can't do much about. The fact is, throughout history, there have been many academics that became staunch racist after they spent a consider amount of their time studying it. Furthermore, this lady seems to be an example of someone who doesn't have a family background that indoctrinated her in racist thought.... yet she aspire to it.

Well told. Almost all of the wealthiest and most powerful people have racism to thank for their positions. Racism has (and has always had) a purpose that most people never understood. By telling *some* what they wanted to hear (you're smart, you're pretty) the masses were set against each other as a means to and end.
As that end nears fruition, those who crafted the policy have (partially) withdrawn it because the conflict it created has served it's purpose and is now not only no longer needed but interfering with the next phase of the plan: The false unity that the United Nations represents and will begin promoting after this current phase (global financial collapse) has passed.

No. Racism is not a necessary trait in order to achieve wealth or power. By its definition, it's the irrational stereotyping of an entire people based off of hate (usually hate stemming from fear or envy). Irrationality doesn't maximize your chances in obtaining power/wealth and not a trait you want.
And congrats on defending racism and then digressing into a conspiracy theory about the UN. Spoken like someone who fails to grasp that he/she is much more likely to die from heart disease/car-accident/etc than from some fabricated threat.
Finally, Darwin himself wasn't a racist. My point about academics is that intelligent people are also susceptible to logical fallacies and thus becoming ingrained in their beliefs. Worst, these individuals can use their linguistic skills and titles (phds/MDs/congressmen) to command support from truly dumb people.
My point is simple. By underestimating people... you are setting yourself up.

It's certainly not going to make a racist realize the error in his ways, and it almost certainly will make him less receptive to the idea of changing his mind. If you people actually want to reduce racism, you're going to have to learn that antagonizing a person is the best way to make sure that he will retain his opinion.
Suppose someone walks up to you and says "You're such a stupid f**king assh**e for believing that. Any intelligent person could clearly see that the evidence is all to the contrary and you'd have to be a dimwitted knuckle-dragger to think what you think."
