You can put thumb buttons back, you can put Upcoming back, you can do whatever - but people won't be happy until auto-submitted (aka RSS stories) are done away with. Publishers being able to pump their content into Digg automatically and indiscriminately is exactly the opposite of what Digg was supposed to be.
